Web Comics

I'm OBSESSED with them! Does anyone else read them? I recommend Plume by K Lynn Smith, and the cricket comics remind me so much of them(the ones in the magazine, except they're printed and not online making them regular comics I guess)! Help I return to the sites everyday to check if they uploaded the next page or chapter or something! There are a bunch of others I haven't mentioned but read. (Noblesse, Super Secret, A Budgie's Life, etc. from webtoons) HELP ME WITH MY ADDICTION!

*squeals in delight a few minutes later at the screen and the new page released*

Never heard of them! Though I would gladly read it if I could find it....

They're both really easy to find. I will warn you that both do contain some mature content, though.

Heard of both, read xkcd. I am also in love with webcomics; my favorites include Johnny Wander, Stand Still, Stay Silent (aka SSSS), Blindsprings and Namesake.

I love Sandra and Woo! It's very Calvin-and-Hobbes-esque. :)

Found them! *excitedly reads through the first few pages or screens or whatever you want to call them* I'll tab it!

Have any of you read the ones I mentioned if yes...(no spoilers don't worry, just me shouting at the characters in my mind)

WHY CORRICK?( for plume, it's a wonderful story to read in the summer because I started reading it on vacation for four days and quickly got up to date, the pages are very short but beautiful )

:3 will be checking out your recommendations as soon as they pop up because I'm bored

Get ready for a long post.

The Order of the Stick is a fantasy webcomic based on Dungeons and Dragons, but you dont have to have played D&D at all to read it. It uses a simplistic "stick figure" style that evolves over time into an artistic interpretation of their original designs.

A character intro:

Roy Greenhilt, the fighter. Lawful and good. He's loyal to his mission and the party. He rebelled against his father (who is a wizard who swore to defeat Xykon) by becoming a fighter. He's a smart guy and will really change your perspective on "boring" goody-goody characters. He once accidentally learned that his ancestral sword can produce arcane fire.

Haley Starshine, the rogue. A sassy, chaotic redhead. Takes no disrepect. Holding onto the memory of who her father used to be. A talented archer with more secrets than pieces of gold (which is REALLY saying something). Once had her arm broken and shot a frost arrow using her once good arm and one of her legs.

Elan Tarquinson, the bard. A chaotic bundle of joy whom I 100% ship with Haley. He's a distractable young man who loves a good gag. He tried to worship a puppet once and converted an entire island of orcs to Banjo-ism. He recently learned magic and I am SO PROUD.

Vaarsuvius, the wizard. A somewhat pretentious but highly intelligent elf (no gender). Has dedicated years of study to the arcane arts and wants everyone to know it. Is always after more power. Good friends with Haley. Once became a god of death and wiped out an entire species. (it's VERY complicated).

Belkar, the ranger. A very violent halfling whom I ship with Vaarsuvius (I'm sorry V, forgive me). He is actually (technically) evil, but he loves his cat Mr. Scruffy (he gets Mr. Scruffy about midway through the series and gets Bloodfeast the Extremeinator later). Keeps adopting more pets. Once wrangled a T-Rex and charged through an enemy battalion.

Durkon, the cleric. A really nice dwarf. He's just... the nicest guy. Ever. I will fight all of you. Durkon is like the team's father. He worships Thor. He once befriended the cleric of a dark demon and kicked Nale's rear.

And some villains, for good measure!:

Xykon: A skeleton lich sorcerer. He's evil and powerful. Also really obnoxious. He's great.

Redcloak: A goblin. He at first glance appears to be in second place to Xykon, but he's a lot smarter than we all think...

Tsukiko: Loves the undead. Like... really loves the undead.

Nale: Elan's evil twin, looks exactly like him but has a goatee.

Sabine: Elan's demon girlfriend.

Tarquin: NO. NO. NO. NOOOO

*gasps* I LOVE A Budgie's Life! It's so cute and since I own budgies, actually pretty informative. I also read a lot of other webcomics— Some of my favorites are Unfamiliar, Humor Me, Rainy Days (be warned, if you start reading this one; there are a lot of episodes and it takes a while for the plot to pick up), Antisocial Media, Hades Holiday, and Mondo Mango. Does anyone else read any of these? They're so amazing I'm eager to fangirl with someone.

Gah, how could I forget Breaking Cat News? (Though I guess that one's not strictly a webcomic anymore...)

Tony is soo cute! I especially loved the AoT episode, it was so funny and cute!

Tony is SO adorable! He's grown so much from the shy little parakeet in the first strips. *wipes away a tear* Chewy is my favorite, though. She reminds me of my budgie Tacoma, who likes to eat just as much. :P

Chewy has changed too like Tony. She has become more accepting of the other birds. As for Nari... we'll see how he turns out with the new gray one...

Mia says kran... that's the name of one of the villains in Noblesse, you read it Mia?

Noblesse is about a bunch of very complicated beings like werewolves(not the kind you think of!), nobles(they call them vampires, but they are not vampires. It's hilarious in one episode where a noble gets angry at his human friends for being overreacting over that they are "vampires"), altered humans, and the Noblesse...

Its very long(300 something fairly sized episodes, though sometimes short and sometimes long) but a wonderful and complex story.

Have you read the other comics on Webtoons besides a Budgie's Life? I enjoy LUMINE and Unordinary ;)
