Hey guys! I was wondering if any of you live/lived in Kentucky and can tell me like the "day in the life of living in KY". Especially if it's a rural spot! Reason being is that in 7 years I plan to move to KY (I'll have a degree in OTA and have worked for 2 yrs). A big reason why KY calls to me is because I have some family down there. And I can get away from spending most my life in WA. And my heritage us down there. So yeah, I'd love to hear what you guys feel about the life in Kentucky!

back to the Down to Earth

I have never lived in or near or even been to that area.

But, to find out about a place, you really have to go there. A lot of places I have been to have looked cool, but seriously dissapointed, and some of the lamest sounding places I have been to have been really cool.

I have to agree, that is what I was thinking. Last year I could have gone to Georgia for Nationals, which is... closer? Closer than where I live now to Kentucky, but we got one spot away.

So maybe I'll save up some money and try to get over there. Somehow!

Admin, do you live/have lived in Kentucky, or know anyone else who does? I am going to join some forum boards to get an idea, but I was thinking of asking you guys first.

And maybe it was posting duplicates because my internet has been out of wack recently. 

 

I don't live in Kentucky or know anyone who lives there. However, I have driven through it a few times and thought it was beautiful!

Haha well... I don't know! See, I have some of my mom's family in Kentucky, and it is part of my heritage. Or close to it. Being part Cherokee, it leaves me close to my bloodline in Tennessee. But I gotta say, Florida sounds awesome. Convince me to move there, my friend! I need some ideas.

 

And thank you, Admin! I've never been anywhere over on the East coast, but I do hear it is quite beautiful. Not to mention the history! I absolutely love history, the good, the bad, and the unknown. It is a power that many people do not care about much anymore.
