Chatterbox: Down to Earth

CBversery Dates

CBversery Dates

I was reading through a thread a long time ago that I made pranking myself. Uhh, and I've been part of the CB since July 2010! I have yet to find my first post (I cannot find anything from back then) so I don't know the exact day. Here I was, thinking I've been on since 2012. Nope, 2010 is the year.

So when did you guys join the CB? Has anyone been on since 2010?

@Admin, I know you run across a ton of people on the CB, but do you remember me back from way back when?

Well, there are so many of you (plus some with multiple names!), I can honestly say that I remember names from way back, but I don't remember many identifying details that go with each name for a long time. I prefer to think of you all as a wonderful group of people!

And more odd thoughts. My oldest role models back when I first joined, amazing people just like you, they... are adults now. Think about that! TNÖ is 24 now. 24! Could be married with a family and everything. ZNZ is 20. I found his first post: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/56976 for those who wish to see it.

And there was an anti-conquest thread against ZNZ's first ever World Domination. An ANTI conquest! Here: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/69882

And a poetry thread I made a long while ago. My style was so different! But I remember clearly writing a few of these those years ago: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/121626 and the others shared brilliant poems as well! I so much love reading over them.

And this was kind of like an "AE" as well. I did this a long time ago, posting as both Ashlee G. and Pandagirl like I mentioned above in a previous comment. Joe was quite weird, I'll say that much. Awesome, but unique: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/chirpatcricket/node/160746

That is all for now! I can just picture myself looking back on these threads from this year a long time from now, just to remember things. And I'll be like, "Wow, I changed so much." Then I'll see my threads from 2010 and 2012 and think, "I seriously changed a lot". xD

Have you guys found any amazing old threads? I am like a little kid in a candy shop, or an attic, digging excitedly through old threads and memories. *Sighs contently*

I know my Grandma got my sister (if you've been around long enough you may remember her as Ellie) and I a Cricket magazine subscription for Christmas when I was 9 and she was 11. I think Ellie started coming on the CB occasionally for a few months until maybe March or April? This was 2014 by the way. I watched her and read some stuff over her shoulder, but I officially joined in early July, 2014. I haven't taken any breaks from the CB longer then maybe 2 days since then.

It's not a very exciting story considering I never left and came back or anything. Oh, my name used to be SAVVY44X, but I thought it looked to messy and jarring, so I changed it. I guess that means my three year CBaversary is coming up then! I joined around Crowd Sorcery time, but it wasn't because of CS and I didn't participate in it. And also, I remember Joe the Stickfiddler!

Well, if Kyngdom counts, then my CBversery is April 4. I been here over one year!

I've been on here since, umm... I don't remember the exact day, but it's sometime in early January of 2016. I think January 8? In fact, I've only been here a little over a year, which is a bit strange to think about. I believe was I introduced by my friend Poetic Panda in the end of 2015, but was too shy to fully get on until 2016.

I made my first post on February 12, 2015. So I'm kinda an old Chatterboxer? Maybe?

So. . . I've been here since July 17th, 2015. Back then, I posted as "Aubrey L." One of the first threads that I joined was a poetry thread by Owlgirl, (anyone remember her? She doesn't get on much anymore because of school, but she'll be back during the summer; or when her school is on break. At least, that's what she said.)

Here's the link to the first thread I joined: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/176516?page=1

December 29, 2016. Almost half a year. It feels like I've been here about a month, time really flies!

Wow, I'm so new compared to most of you!

@elementgirl18917

That's my birthday!

* * *

I joined on July 4, 2012. So you're older than me on here!

I joined on my birthday!

And on August twenty, I'll be celebrating a single year of Cricket.

I don't think I can count myself as having joined yet (I don't come on often, and I still feel very much like an interloper), but I vaguely recall posting something when the Fable Thatcher story was going on, the crowdscourced one called The Girl Who Writes the Future? It's mostly a blur of the background, but I distinctly remember submitting three comments, each saying something about how she doesn't have to die, everyone just assumed that, she could just lose her powers or something instead. I think it was my first time seeing CAPTCHAs. I never checked to see if anyone responded.

I got my first Cricket years and years ago as a birthday present from my aunt, and I think I just kind of tossed it to the side thinking "ugh, this looks boring." I could not have been more wrong. Months or years later, I read it, and I fell in love with it. I subscribed immediately (my aunt had sent me a subscription, but that first issue was the only one that ever came) and read faithfully, more or less unaware of the CB. Some time after the first issue that told of it arrived, I joined Kyngdom and have actively been there ever since, visiting this beautiful and terrifying place on rare occasion.

I am known to be an artist/illustrator. As a thank-you to her for writing the poem Don't Listen, here's a pageful of doodles I made a while ago of Rose bud. They're probably horribly inaccurate.

I love them, Viola! I think I joined Kyngdom about a year ago, in early May. So, I didn't even realize it passed! Happy CBversary to me! *throws confetti in the air*
