So, I am not a very fashionable person in general, or at least, I avoid being so. I think we all have our own unique styles, and how would it be to share and compare? That's what this is for! Share your style, write it in a story form, a list, whatever you wish. Then we can all compare how we dress, why we dress that way, and what makes us unique. So here is mine!
My Style:
- Black, always. No, I don't dress goth or emo, I just wear at least one article of black clothing at all times. Usually, that is in my T-shirts, but sometimes it will be my jeans. Now, I am not a huge fan of the color because it is quite depressing, yet it helps me blend into the crowd. I am also very self-conscious and so it helps take the attention away from me. I have a funny story about that, actually, when I didn't wear black for one day.
- Shark tooth necklace. Okay, okay, if you know Zeon, you know he is a surfer kid with a shark tooth necklace, right? Yeah, he is my role model with that. A lot of you know I cannot be in water anymore, yet I dream of surfing. Well, shark tooth necklaces are a bit of the ocean that I adore, which again links to my love of surfing and the beach. Zeon actually had his before I got mine, shockingly.
- Paracord and a survival watch. I might not be a prepper, but I am that "I am prepping for Voldemort's return or a zombie apocalypse without your knowing" kind of person. I ask for "survival gear" and I made my own paracord bracelet at school. I never take these off, even when sleeping, besides when showering and doing dishes. When I was able to be in water and swim, I used to even wear my watch because it was waterproof, regardless of getting water rashes.
- Wool socks and gloves in summer. Ahh, the bane of my existence. This is not at all my choice, but again, the whole medical thing decided to curse my life. Maybe it is a good thing? Everything happens for a reason, I suppose. And it really helps me relate to a friend of mine. But anyways, I have to wear wool socks and gloves until it is 70 Fahrenheit or warmer. Seriously. Now, do I always follow this? Uhh... No. But I really should.
- Seattle style. Maybe you know where Seattle is, maybe not. It is the biggest city in Washington with high style. They dress peculiar, I mean, socks and sandles, pockets like what hoodies have, yet on T-shirts. I grew up there, so I know all about it. Well, my grandma brings us shopping in Seattle every summer when we visit (we live in Washington, but nowhere near Seattle anymore). And so I still dress classy. French-styled shirts (at least, that is what I think of. They are almost like turtle necks, but really short sleeves, tight, and striped), Long sleeves with hoodie pockets on the front (but not hoodies), blouses, and the such. Yet, I don't think I've really found my style yet. I just wear what I am given. And the funny thing is? My pants rarely fit like shirts do. I am super tall, so they are usually a size too big to just fit the length. xD

Thanks! It is nice helping relate to my friend, so that is a positive. Also, it must commonly is found in elderly women, I was just an extreme exception.

Yay! Clothes! I finally can be girly on the CB! Since I live in Illinois, I have to have clothes for -15 weather and 90. Also, rain, snow, etc. So prepare for a giant post!
Stuff I wear every day: My hair is boy short (not really a pixie cut, because I have a part. Like... Cary Grant but with bangs? idk) Makeup- foundation/concealer/powder- to cover up acne. My eyelashes are pretty long naturally so I don't have to wear mascara, but sometimes I do anyway. I LOVE fuzzy socks, and wear converse every day (maroon high tops) Also, a purple watch, earrings (my favorites are a pair shaped like a paint palette, a pair of tiny owls, and a pair of sunglasses earrings) but I don't wear those very often), and my nails always painted (but usually chipping) I have neon green braces at the moment.
My style if I didn't go to a school with uniform: My favorite piece of clothing ever is this pair of denim overall shorts. In the summer, I wear athletic shorts or jean shorts, and lots of tank tops. My favorite summer shirt is a pink tank top with succulents on it that says Good Vibes. If I had more than one dress, I'd wear them more often :)
In winter, I wear winter coats (because I am wimpy and hate cold), skinny jeans or joggers, and long sleeve casual shirts. I'm a big fan of leggings, and I have a pair of floral ones that I wear all the time. I love love love big sweaters, too. My favorite shirt, probably, is peach-colored and has a cow skull with flowers on its head. Girly and tough at the same time!
About the pants- I'm tall, too, but I have to wear short jeans! Weird.
Color-coordination is my middle name- I HAVE to be color-coordinated or it bugs me all day. My style is very colorful, and very girly, and I like floral stuff a lot.

Wow, I never thought to see you as a girly girl when it comes to fashion! That's pretty cool, you have a nice style. A lot like my sister, BunnyLove, in fact. But wow, -15 AND 90 degree? How on earth do you tolerate that?! Where I live, we get an average 27-72 F. 27 for January, 72 for July. Although we often hit 100, 105 in the summer and an occasional -5 in winter. Like this winter, it was just awful!
(May 11, 2017 - 9:51 am)
Usually, it's not to that extreme. I think -15 was the lowest it's ever been where I live in my lifetime, usually it gets to -5 or 0 in the winter? And yeah, I'm actually really girly :)

My Style:
-Athletic shorts or jeans and T-shirts, on weekends. Approximately 2/3 of my shirts have the name of some regatta or another on them, so I wear those a lot.
-Of course, on the weekends, sailing is another big factor, so I wear a fleece shirt and pants, shorts over that, a rashguard over that, a dry-top over that, and a drysuit, the bane of my existence, over everything. Look it up if you don't know what it is.
-School days- really 'preppy' clothes. Like, poloshirt-under-buttoned-cardigan kind of 'preppy'. Sometimes I wear skirts or dresses, and sometimes my sailing shirts and leggings.
(May 11, 2017 - 6:55 am)
Nice style! We actually wanted to go sailing, as in travel through sailing, but with so many kids I guess my parents decided against it for now. But wow, that is a lot just to go sailing that you have to wear! And when it comes to your school days, it is kind of funny because we had a "nerd day" once, and guess what everyone dressed as? Polo shirts under cardigans with khakis, skirts, or slacks. xD
It's okay though, I tend to wear that a lot as well!

Okay!
Top: Usually I wear a musician or band's merchandise or something kind of like (not full length just shorts) overalls and a crop top or something like that. Maybe a pastel pink sweatshirt. This varies a lot, as you can tell, but I love overalls, crop tops, music stuff, and pastel colors, although my favourite color is yellow.. unfortunately there aren't many clothes I like that are yellow so I rarely wear it.
Pants/Skirt: I wear black leggings every single day. Everyday. Sometimes they'll be a black skirt, or a dress over it, but there will always, always be black leggings.
Shoes: White flats, tan sandals, black tennis shoes, black boots in winter. Not very exciting.
Hair: My hair could be in space buns, two little pigtails separated from the rest of my hair, the front pulled back into a ponytail, cat ears, a bow, just down with nothing. Most often is cat ears, though, I love cat ears!
Jewellery? Could You a Call These That?: I've got a Melanie Martinez pink wristband on my right wrist that I never take off. In the shower, while I'm sleeping, I just always wear it. I think I started wearing it around December or November, although I'm not really sure. I think if it wasn't there it would feel really weird as though something wasn't missing. I also wear the same pair of earrings everyday and never take them off, but that's just because I'm allergic to about 98% of all earrings and the ones I'm safe to wear are quite expensive and I only have 1 pair.
That's all! I don't wear makeup or anything. Yeah. Ok. Bye!

Nice style, Savvy! My sister, Bunnyloves dresses a lot like you, with pastel (or in her case, often bright) colors, leggings, and things like that. I tend to go really simple on jewelry too, with a paracord bracelet, survival watch (neither are jewelry, I know!), and my shark tooth necklace or a celtic clay dragon, or a simple picture-pendant one of a dragon, wolf, or nebula.
(May 11, 2017 - 10:01 am)
I LOVE space buns. I think they're the only reason I regret cutting my hair.
(May 11, 2017 - 7:22 pm)
Cool! :) Yeah, space buns are so great, although it's hard to get both sides even.. then when you do get it right it's like 10x better though!!

@Ashlee: Yeah, I get the thing about finding your style. Most people at my school have a certain style that all of their clothes match, and they shop for all of their own clothes. I just wear whatever is given to me and is not too fancy. You could move to Florida if the 70 degree thing bothers you. :) On Christmas morning, it was 81 degrees.
Well, it is 5:30ish where I live as I'm writing this and it is about 95 degrees outside. It actually got up to 105 today. I only have one longsleeve shirt for very cold winters, so I'm not going to describe what I wear during the winter . I usually wear a t-shirt with some sort of design on it. Currently I'm wearing one that is brown with a tree and two bear cubs from this environmental festival thing I went to. Most of my t-shirts are something like that, all with high collars. I always wear a pair of loose blue jeans.I'm bone thin with long legs and arms, so even if I wear skinny jeans, they are still loose. On weekends and over the summer, I occasionally wear shorts and some of the slightly fancier things in my closet. If I don't do this, then my mom complains that I don't wear any nice clothes. She describes my "style" as sloppy (one of my friends actually told me today that I would be prettier if I wore nicer clothes. I told her: nah, I like my clothes).I describe my clothes as plain enough to blend in. I favor a pair of gray beaten down tennis shoes (which somehow remind me of a relaxing shade of blue and the word Wednesday), but I also have a newer blue pair that I sometimes wear.
I've had pearced ears since I was a baby (latino culture), and my grandparents give me a lot of jewlery with gems and stones on them. I usually wear small gold studs for earings, but sometimes I'll wear some of the brighter colored ones. Occasionally I will wear a necklace. I never wear makeup, and my dark brown hair is too short to go in a ponytail so I wear it down.
(May 11, 2017 - 4:31 pm)
Oh wow, that's insane! We are like the upper 50s and lower 60s with an occasional 70 right now. xD I would love to move to Florida, but everyone is like oh, you will hate the humidity and the bugs and the heat! Personally, I think Florida is awesome.
Also, this might seem odd but I had a best friend back in third grade who was latino. She moved, and I don't know where I thought it was Florida. Did you happen to live in Washington before? Because that is where I knew her from.
I absolutely love your style! That is much more me, but like I said, my family chooses for me. Grandparents usually. Which means 6+ hours in a mall shopping for trendy clothes which I either tend not to wear or very strongly dislike. But I am all for the simple style. Back in 8th grade and earlier than that, I dressed just like you do and "friends" would say I looked boring and not "pretty" in their minds. My grandma thought I was ridiculous, and that is when she took matters into her hands every summer by bringing us shopping.
So yeah, awesome style and weather! How is it in Florida? Humidity and bug wise? And how are the people, cities, things like that? I think living in Florida would be amazing.

HAHAHAHAHA
Don't get me started on clothing.
I have my own, for lack of a better word, unique style. What I wear is different every day, ranging from jeans and a t-shirt to a flowy vintage skirt. I love skirts, actually. I'm pretty much the only girl in middle school who wears a skirt often, which makes me feel a bit out of place. It might seem very stereotypically feminine, but I just wear skirts because I like how they look on me and how they feel. Casually, my skirts fall above the knee. AT synagogue, for modesty's sake, I wear much longer ones. I love layering things that aren't "supposed" to be put together, so that when they are they result in something special and extraordinarily coordinating. Scarves are my go-to article for jazzing up any plain outfit. Did I metion that I HATE wearing something that might some across as plain or ordinary? I have this habitual tendency to stand out from people around me.
My trademark wardrobe item is a pair of kneesocks. I LOVE SOCKS! SO MUCH! If I'm ever wearing shorts or a skirt, I must, must, must wear a coordinating pair of knee-highs with them! Unless I'm wearing sandals. Then I don't.
Honestly, I just wear anything that suits me that day.
(May 11, 2017 - 6:03 pm)
AHHH, SOCKS!! Sorry, I had to xD
I absolutely love socks, especially knee-socks. I have these awesome Microsoft plaid ones, and at every store I go to I am like, "Oh, can I get these Harry Potter ones? And these dragon ones? And these Hobbit ones? And these ones that just look cool? And-" So yeah, you get the point, I love socks.
Your style is awesome, I love how unique it is. I used to really be into skirts, but I stopped wearing them for some reason. Maybe because I stood out so much? I won't ever remember. But I used to wear ankle-length skirts and simple tops. I think people started saying I looked weird. Anyways, nice style!
