Fantasy Writing Unit!

So, in my LA class (or ELA, to some of you) we're doing a fantasy writing unit. I am the only on happy about these occurances, except for a few of my friends who are all in different classes. As my teacher said 'This is a non-stress end-of-the-year fun unit.' Yeah, my teacher's rather chill and taoist. Not a hippie, though. So anyways, I'm really excited. Finally something other than essay writing! But, there's only one drawback. Everyone else in my class is moaning about it, and saying it sucks, etc. I'm trying all I can to get them out of this funk, and I've succeeded with three of the girls and one boy. But it's just really annoying to them explaining the difference between fantasy and sci-fi, and also how the faerie world works and why there are different types of dragons.
