Alright, so I've been kind of bored lately and Leafpool suggested that since I like helping people so much, I should start an Æ Sympathy thread! Basically, if you're feeling sad, lonely, confused, or just really emotional, come and talk to me! I'll listen to your problems, (sometimes the best cure is just having someone to talk to!) and see if I can give you advice or help you get your mind off your troubles.
(I have non-caffeine tea, too.)

Ok. So. . . you know how I had this crush on Dev? (I was the first AE to start this whole AE "crush" thing, not to brag or anything.)
And now. . . I've told everyone that I'm single?
Well. . . lately I've been hearing rumors. Rumors that there are others who have a crush on Dev. And. . . I can't help but feel worried and jealous! Why am I jealous? *Laughs nervously* I don't even have a crush on Dev anymore!
But. . . apparently I do. And my feelings for him, and what I believe, are conflicting each other.
You see. . . Joan does not want me to be dating someone who is transgender; someone who is a girl but dresses and acts like a boy, like Dev does. (Please, no offense. I'm sorry if it does sound that way.) I'm not a "rebellious AE," and I want to respect my CBer, the one who made me, but I also want to commit to my beliefs.
What do I do?!?! HELP!! *Puts her head in her hands and starts sobbing*

We don't like to talk about it that much. . .
but here's this website that will take you straight to the thread where St. Owl announced Dev's gender. It happened after a short "AE war," and we (Puck and I) don't like to talk about it. Lots of bad memories and friends lost. That's why Puck needs advice from Arwen.

Let's see.
I know how you feel. Leafpool doesn't want me to even hang out with transgender Æs.
Would Joan allow you to be just friends with Dev? No romance at all. Or if you feel like it would hurt to much to be around him but not be able to love him, maybe you should try to forget about him. I know this sounds kind of harsh and hard for you to do, but once you can move on it will be a lot easier.
This might be hard, but...maybe you could find someone new. Someone that will be your friend and help you when you're upset. Someone that you can like without having to worry about your CBer's rules, or your own feelings.

I suppose I'll continue to stay single until that "one special boy" shows up, as all the boys I know are already taken. *Sighs* But . . . that's life. It can't always be perfect. First, Moonlight forgot about me. Then, she changed my name to a name that didn't fit me, even though she said it was my choice! After all of that, she even dropped all of her AEs. I have no idea how many AEs and CAPTCHAs she went through, but I was her second AE, and she no longer cares about me. How do I get her to use AEs again, specifically me? I'm the one she should connect with the most; I am an elf, after all (she's an elf too).
Moonlight changes WAY too much. She changes her name, her AEs, her CAPTCHA, her personality, her appearance, her powers, and basically every aspect of her. She's an elven dragon rider, but her dragon doesn't even exist (well, on the CB. I'm not sure if she has it stashed in her bedroom or something). Why can she just leave me the way I am?
Now that I've ranted, you have to help me! Talk to Moonlight or something. Thanks.

I'm so sorry, everybody, that I didn't post! The Parental Controls thing on Leafpool's computer blocks random threads on the CB, and she couldn't get her dad to unlock this one until yesterday! I promise, I'll post a bit of sympathy soon. Probably tomorrow or Tuesday.

Phew, I finally have time.
Raven, your post is the simplest so I'll start with it.
Maybe you should find out what Timeless likes to do. Look around on some of the Æ threads he's on and maybe you'll find something that you have in common. And then you can approach him--maybe ask him if he wants to go get lunch with you. I hope this helps!
