Thsi is not a debate thread, as that would be pointless. This is just sharing experiences.
Do you have any friends that are of a different political party than you? For example, if you support Trump, do you have any friends who are Democrat and supported Sanders? How do you tiptoe around them?
I have one friend who supported Trump (I supported Clinton) and we don't really tiptoe around each other. In fact, we've sort of made a joke about it, I'd make my iPad wallpaper a Hillary Clinton quote just to annoy her, et cetera. When she says something that's either false or I don't agree with, I usually don't argue. I sort of just laugh on the inside and continue doing whatever I'm doing.
What about you guys?

I have a friend who supports Trump and keeps talking about 3rd wave feminism as if it's a bunch of liars. I argue with him constantly, but it always has a jokey tone.
I still enjoy talking with him because at least we both care about politics.
