An AE (Alter Ego) is basically a character you create. Try to make it something you understand and can relate to, while still being as creative as possible. It can be hard sometimes to create the perfect AE for you, but you'll know when it happens. :) Good luck!

Alter Ego literally means "other self" in Latin, and thus AEs were originally supposed to be an expression of other parts of your personality. People have taken it to whole new levels, which I think is great and a prime example of the community's creativity. I would suggest taking some areas of yourself, maybe even ones that you don't particularly like, and expanding them into a character which would become your AE.
