Friend Can't Read
Friend Can't Read Stuff.
So one of my friends' parents won't let her read Harry Potter and Warriors, and my other friends and I love those books and we play roleplays at free time about it. So whenever that friend walks over when we are roleplaying she says "What ya doin'?" Then we respond, then she says "I can't read those, and I doubt that my mother will let me play it" so she ends up just sitting there watching us, with her round sad green eyes. I feel really bad for her, and offer if she wants to play another game, but she says no. IDK what to do know and ARGH, so confusing! Please give tips.

If she's around the same age as you, I really don't see a reason why she shouldn't be able to read them. Warriors is pretty violent, but I read them at 10--11, so I'm sure it's nothing she can't handle at 12 or 13. Tell her to talk to her parents about it and make the case that she's not a baby anymore and can handle some violence and slightly more "mature" themes in her reading.
