Okay, so you guys remember how a couple of weeks ago The Riddler made a post asked for advice about a big interview that we were both doing to get into this private high school called ____ Academy?
Well...
The Riddler....
WON THE FULL SCHOLARSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! AND I CAME IN THIRD, SO I GOT A SCHOLARSHIP, TOO! WHICH MEANS WE'RE GOING TO THE ACADEMY TOGETHER!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone, give Riddler a round of applause. She worked so hard for this (as did I) and she definitely deserves it!
Although I am slightly disappointed that I didn't win the Town Scholarship, my pride for my friend completely overrides any negativity. I mean, I feel so lucky to have a friend as AMAZING as the Riddler.
Now, the Riddler has been going to a private middle school for the past couple of years. I've been to public school my whole life. So, I'm kind of terrified. My biggest worry is that I won't fit in with the other kids, some of whom are international students. I'm also scared that I'll be held to a higher standard, since I won one of the scholarships.
Any advice that has anything to do with going to a private high school would be great!
Thanks for reading my garbled, overexcited little rant! (I really need advice for overcoming the above fears)

How wonderful, Kestrel! THe fact that you got in with scholarship communicates that you are full able to handle whatever this school throws your way! You may prefer it to publc school-- the smaller classes, more time with the teachers, etc. Congratulations to the two of you!

Yay, congrats you two!! I was really hoping you'd both get a scholarship for the academy, it sounds like a wonderful opportunity. Have fun, and do make sure to tell us all about it!
