What were the most important lessons you learned in life?

For me personally, I've learned a lot. I had a lonely period in fifth grade when I learned the importance of making friends and being outgoing, and now, friendship for me is a top priority. I also went through a rough period at school, which taught me a lot about time management. :)

What about you guys?

Well, I've learned that sometimes what is right is not easy. It is so hard to be kind all the time, and the truth is, I am not always kind. But if I try, then slowly, slowly, I can make a difference in someone else's day. Small things like that can do a lot for somebody.

This is an awesome idea, Mei!

One of the most important lessons I've learned, is that you can't bottle up your emotions and thoughts. They just build up, and eventually cause you so much pain, that sometimes, you take it out on yourself. I've also learned that God and your parents are the biggest assets you have in life. Don't take them for granted.

Don't let societal pressures cloud your judgement.

One of the most important things I've learned is to forgive. Holding grudges isn't healthy. Just let go of it, even if the other person doesn't. Be strong. Forgive.

To forgive is to set a prisoner free, then discover that the prisoner was you.

I've learned how to put myself in someone else's shoes and be as understanding as I possibly can.
