I once sent a letter to the artist of the illustrated harry potter books and I got an actual letter back and AN ORIGIONAL DRAWING!!! I will post a pic of it later :-)

In sixth grade, I ran a tiny weekly newsletter in my classroom, and every week I would interview an author via email and get an interview. It was amazing! i'm thinking of compiling a book of interviews. Some of the people I heard from were Ruta Septys (Between Shades of Grey), Lois Sachar (holes, Wayside School), Cynthia Voight (basically every book on the planet), David Lubar (Hidden Talents), Polly Shulman (The Grimm Legacy), Margret Peterson Haddix (everything Cynthia Voight didn;t write), and I whole buunch of others I can't remember. I think I got about 35 total.
Authors are so nice!
