Cranioectomy- the (surgical! :D:D:D) removal of someone's head

Xenophobia- fear of strangers

Liger- a cross between a lion and a tiger. I can't remember which one is supposed to be male and which one female.

Pegasii- the plural of pegasus

blithe- happy

Dory- a kind of flat boat

Cryptid- a kind of animal whose existance is not proven: for instance, bigfoot.
