Hey, guys!

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hey, guys!

Hey, guys!

What sort of enviroment are you in right now? I'm just curious.

I am sitting in my bedroom with the fan blowing in my face, at 7:30 at night, listening to chirping crickets outside of my window. My light pyjamas are boiling, right now! It's in the middle of summer for me, in case you were confused.

What about you CBers/Admins? Please don't post any information about where you live, just the environment around you!

Thanks!

WHAT?!? WHERE?!? Wait, you're in Austrailia. Sorry, I forgot.

I am on the floor of my bedroom, leaning up against the bed, with my computer in my lap. I am wearing really heavy pajamas with a sweatshirt over them, and I'm cold anyway. There is a raging blizzard outside, with over a foot of snow on the ground already, and more falling (School was canceled, hooray!). It is 6:56 pm here, and as dark as if it were 9:56. My sister is singing and playing with Legos downstairs, I can hear them clinking. My mom is humming to my little baby brother, and it sounds like my dad is watching some sort of documentary on TV.

So, yeah. That's basically what's happening at elementgirl's house right now.

Wow, they're like opposites! We had to cancel school today because it was so hot!

I'm listening to my siblings fighting and snow splatting outside my window.

Ahh... summer. Right now I'm sitting on the couch in the living room, my dad is making dinner, and my brother is- guess what? Playing on the computer. Like. Always. :P

The weather is pretty cold right now. I'm wearing my winter pajamas: fleece UVa Cavaliers pants, a tank top, and a hoodie. It's going to be Shabbat (sabbath) in a bit. I can smell fresh challah baking. Mmmmm! I hear the oil sizzling on the pan. Dad's making schnitzel. Not my favorite, as I don't like meat, but oh well.

I feel sweaty and chalky because I just came back from gymnastics practice. My hair is tangled into a bun-type-thing. Really, it's just a ponytail halfway pulled through.

I'm sitting at the desk in my living room typing on an apple computer early in the morning while the movie 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' plays on the neighboring screen. Behing me is an unlit fireplace, three chairs (an armchair, papasan, and rocker) and a large floral couch. The room is wood paneled, and on the walls are hung photographs, rusted signs, mirrors, and beautiful paintings done by one of my parents' friends. The bookshelves above me are filled to the brim with books.

Neat idea for a thread Lilypad! :)

I'm lying curled up with my wolf blanket on my brother's bed without his knowing. He hates it when I am on his bed. The fan is on still because the noise helps us sleep, and I haven't turned it off yet. Since it is still winter, the fan is facing toward the window, blowing the curtains up and open. My head rests against the wall, laptop on top of me. Across the room is a large picture I colored in of a... mandala? Basically, it's almost like a geometrical piece of art with lots of patterns and colors.

Next to that, above my computer, is some of my framed/non-framed photography pieces, post cards, zoo tickets, a ribbon, folders, things like that. Very inspirational things. To the right of the big picture are my notebooks, candles, jewelry box, tennis racket, so forth.

All my curtains are closed, but I know there is at least 8 inches of snow outside, covering the land like a white blanket. The house is quiet, besides one of my sisters playing Roblox, and the house is cast in faint bits of light from the sun outside.
