What are you
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
What are you
What are you going to be when you grow up? Are you going to be a scientist and change the world. Will you be an explorer and travel to every continent in one year? Or are you undecided, go where life takes you?
I am still undecided. But I know that there are two things in the world that I want to achieve in my lifetime. One day I will become a professional artist and author. I hope....how about you guys?

Coincidentally enough, I'm in the part of middle school where people are saying "You're 14-- decide your life now." We're making lots of plans through high school, including ones for past that, to college and adult life and beyond. To be honest I haven't thought (or wanted to think) that far ahead, but I have considered a few jobs. One I like the idea of is being an editor, for books and magazines. I enjoy grammar and reading other people's writing and improvin it, so I think it'd be perfect for me.
I also thought about being a voice-over actor, you know? Someone who reads audiobooks and does voice acting in shows. I think reading audiobooks would be like a dream job for me. ^^
Anyways, those are just my hopes and/or dreams. It's still quite a few years away, so I don't have to decide just yet.

I agree, Clouded Leapord. You don't have to decide your whole future now! But, yes, reading audio books would be extremely awesome!
Element girl. I want to be a chemist or a teacher. Full stop. Funny! XD!
WHAT? My name just auto-corrected to Big Butt....

I did a double take when I saw that. That is SO COOL xD.

I have no idea what I want to be! My ultimate dream would be to be a musician, but that's kind of unlikely, so here are some of my other career idea...
-Audio-book reader! Clouded Leopard, you're it the only one... I used to read books out loud to my dog, last year I read a whole regular sized chapter book to my sister, and I think it would just be great to read books dramatically and get paid to do so haha...
-Editor. Wow, Clouded Leopard and I are very similar. I want to be an author, obviously, like most people on here, but if that doesn't work out, it would be fun to work in a publishing company somehow, and editing would fun!
-Somehow working in a record company! If I can't be the musician, I could be someone's manager, or I could play background music for solo artists... or.. I don't really know.
-This is odd, so brace yourselves. I want to be a Disney princess. Like, in Disney World. They have auditions in a couple cities around the world, and somehow Pittsburgh (my city) is one of those places. Basically (and I've done a lot of research) you get to dress up, hang out in Disney all day, and (best of all, of course) be with small children everyday!! Yay!!! Also, I get to do a bit of acting and singing, two things I love, and I'm allowed to check out free Disney movies from this staff only library type thing they have in the tunnels! Don't judge me, haha.
-I'm 12 now, but when I'm 14, I'm getting a job at this gymnastics place that I've gone to since I was 6 (?), and my mom used to work there, so I know pretty much everyone and everything. Also, it's the only place I know of you can get a job at 14.

Omg, Savvy, my friend's sister always said she wanted to be a Disney princess... I believe you have to be a certain height. (5' 2''- 5' 7'', maybe?) So, I can't grow anymore if I'm going to be one.
I honestly don't know what I want to be. I was so set on being a teacher until I got my digital art tablet, and now I'm actually thinking about getting into the animation field- ??? before that I wanted to be an engineer, but honestly, math and science aren't really as fun as they were in third grade when it made sense. I think getting into the history field would be cool, too, but I know from my cousin who's in that field that it is crazy hard to get a job as a history teacher. (And I actually, seriously thought about becoming a religious sister for a while, and am still open to that idea, too)
I'll take whatever life throws at me, as long as it's not an office job.

Yeah, I read about that and I know I'll never be that tall, but I also saw on their website that if you were between 4'11 and 5'2 you could play Tinkerbell (or any fairy for that matter), Wendy (from Peter Pan), or Alice! I think I'd want to be Alice, but you don't get get to choose. :)

Also forgot to mention that anyone taller can be a villain. Doesn't seem as fun to be a villain, to me, but I guess any role would be enjoyable! :)

I either want to be a chemist or a teacher. End of story xD.

I know this is crazy, but I would want to work at a bookstore or at a library! That's it.

Ive always dreamed of having a small bussiness where I can sell my art. Mainly in the form of greeting cards and such but a few paintings too; or an Author, or actor. MAyeb all three;)
But one thing I really want to do is to have a youtube channel and animate. Yas my friends I want to ANIMATE! (not for a living but like a side job) I think itd be really cool:)

Heh heh....
I think I might be an artist or a cheerleader. Cool idea LilyPad!

I have confidence that I'm going to be an author. Before or after I'm an author, I would like to be the owner of a small coffee shop, work at a radio station, maybe be a librarian (I have an obsession with organizing books XD), or a teacher. Like, a middle school teacher. Also, I want to be someone who travels the world helping others. I'm not quite sure if there's a job for that, but I would enjoy it very much.
When I was in preschool and they asked us this question, I said that I wanted to be a vet or archeologist. I gues things change :)

I would love to be a Pediatrician.
But... the audiobook reader sounds like a really cool side job. ;)

Librarian and (probably Indi or however you spell it) author.

All I know is that it has to involve music. Within the past few years music has suddenly become my life. Especially with Hamilton, cello, and La La Land. Specifically musicals. Musicals involve repeated themes and bigger stories. Somehow music is able to convey emotions better than anything else is.
