Chatterbox: Down to Earth

New Poetry Club!

New Poetry Club!

We haven't had one of these for a while.

I wrote this a few days ago.

Elvish Dance

The sun is rising, oh so slow

Chasing the elves away

They sing their last, and then the glow

Of the light is too much

The haunting strains of elvish song

Ripple through the valleys

The lovely, floating notes have gone

Replaced by dying echos

Then when the sun is going down

And the moon appears

They will come and dance again, round

And round and round

Oh! Come! Dance with me!

Swing around and sing

Joyful flutes and revelry

The elves are here again.

What do y'all think?

Ahh, it's so beautiful! I love poetry. I will share my own later today. I cannot wait to see everyone's brilliant poetry works!
