What do you
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
What do you
What do you want to be when you grow up? Ok, here's my list: Soccer Player, Musical theatre Actress, Guitarist, Kung Fu Master. What do you think? I'll probably add a few more as I go, but I'll see. What about you? Whether it's undecided or definite, do you have any idea?

It's always been a dream of mine to be a novelist, but that's not, ah, the steadiest-paying occupation. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever give up working on books to attempting to get published. I just feel like it'd be hard to live off of.
Journalism seems like it would be fun too... Perhaps writing book reviews/articles for the New Yorker or similar. That's something I could get behind. Or travel journalism?
I'm also super interested in psychology. There's nothing more scientifically appealing to me than what makes the human mind tick, why we find certain things appealing, and how some people can look at the same object and see them very differently.
Neonotology is another field I'd consider exploring. Babies are so fragile, so delicate, and the processes used to care for them is so varied from how we care for fully grown adults. It's a super-weird balance.
It has plenty of human interaction, too, which is also a mental requirement of mine. I think I would go crazy if I had to sit in a cubicle all day.

I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I really want to be an elementary school teacher, because I really don't like middle school. When I'm extremely bored in class I start wonderng why I would ever want to be a teacher, and then I remember that I want to teach elementary school. I loved my elementry school, and I had so many great teachers. Certain ones really inspired me because they were so amazing, and when I sat at my desk, I thought about how I wanted to be just like them some day.
