I was stuck in a Hotel because I missed my plane home. Our previous plane was delayed FOUR or FIVE hours. First, our first plane had to wait on the runway for an HOUR because some one else was in their parking place. Then, we got off and ran to the next plane because we were late. We got on that plane, and everything was fine until the plane BROKE DOWN. Everyone got off and we had to walk to a WHOLE OTHER TERMINAL. We waited around there for a long time and then we got on another plane. Guess what happened next? There was SMOKE in the CONTROL TOWER so they had to EVACUATE it. We waited for ANOTHER hour. We went out to the runway. There was a whole LINE of planes. We waited to take off. We took off. FINALLY. We flew to the next airport. We waited at the baggage pick up to get our suitcase. We took a shuttle to our next gate. We missed the flight. We went back and my Dad yelled at the lady at the counter because they wouldn't pay for a hotel room for us. We paid for a hotel room ourselves. We went there. We ate dinner. We collapsed into bed exhausted. What a great New Years, huh?

I am pretty tired. At least I fell asleep what with all the fireworks! XD

@Kate-the-Great, that sounds really stressful. *hugs* Happy New Year! *resists the urge to blow a horn in your ear. XD*
Let's see, I spent the night with a friend and we stayed up till 1 AM, Central Time. So, the ball in NYC drops at 11PM for us. It's great! We don't have to stay up as late. XD
Highlights of 2016...well, I'm the only piccolo player in all of my middle school (we can only have one though). It's great! At the last band concert, I had a solo for a few measures that turned into a duet with my guy friend that plays bassoon. Really nice guy :D.
Sorry to brag. Hope your New Years' are going better than the end of 2016, what with the election and all the celebrity deaths (Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, Prince, Alan Rickman). . Not that the death toll is higher than normal, I just felt like I knew those celebrities more, if you know what I mean. Anyway, Happy New Year!
