Star Wars Debate Thread!

This is the first debate I've ever done, so please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong!

So we will be debating the theory from The Force Awakens that Rey is Luke's daughter. Um...yeah. The FOR team supports the theory; the AGAINST team doesn't.

I'm going to be on the FOR side. 

Yeah.

Er...and I've never done this before...do we need a judge for this?

OOhh!! Exciting! Cool, I've never done this either.

Okay, im going to be on the AGAINST side here so we can have debate.

Question- do I just need to be against the theory that she's Luke"s daughter or that she's a specific person's daughter?

I'll just go with the first one for now.

Here's some reasons she's not Luke"s daughter (and I've only watched like two theory videos and am just tonight finishing watching all the Star Wars films but I've seen the force awakens and 4 5 and 6, so bear with me)

Here's my argument: 

If she is Luke's daughter, what about her accent? She has a British accent, and Luke doesn't. However, Obi-Wan Kenobi does have an accent, so it's possible that she's his grandaughter or something. 

...can't really think of any other arguments right now.
