Most people hear celebrate Christmas, so people are paying the post notice to Christmas, so... I decided to make a thread about every winter holiday (yes, there are only three that I know of, but still)!
On this thread you can talk about and/or post pictures about the holiday(s) that you celebrate! Also, take the survey below if you want. IMPORTANT: If you don't feel comfortable sharing what holiday you celebrate, no one is pressuring you to share!

Mine:
1. Hanukkah!
2. One day during Hanukkah, my family living in our state will go to one of my family member's house and open presents from the family members in this state. I also open presents from different members of my family on different nights. Also, my mom and dad make fried food like funnel cakes.
3. Open presents, eat fried food, and light the Hanukkiah!
4. Sufganyot! Those are jelly-filled donuts. They are delicous!
5. I don't actually know! That's a hard one.
6. Hamilton tickets!
7. Background information for non-Jews about Hanukkah: On Hanukkah, people make fried food because of a miracle involving oil (I'm not going to go into details). Also, we light a Hanukkiah every night with one more candle every night (I'm not going to go into details either). There are 8 nights of Hanukkah. Hanukkah starts this year on the night of Saturday, the 24th of December.

Christmas
2. Do you have any special holiday traditions? What are they?
We don't celebrate any religious aspects of Christmas; I mean we have some angels and stuff on our tree, and I know plenty of religious Christmas songs. It's just not a focus.
-We decorate our tree. We have red, green, silver, and blue oranments, along with lots of special ornaments and souvenirs.
-We decorate our house with lights.
-We drive around and look at other people's lights.
-We make gingerbread houses and cookies.
-On Christmas Eve, we invite family and friends over for a New Mexican dinner.
3. What is your favorite thing to do for/on on the holiday(s) you celebrate?
Eat and spend time with family.
4. What is your favorite holiday food?
Gingerbread cookies
5. What was your favorite present that you ever got on a winter holiday?
That's so hard!
6. What present do your REALLY want to get this year?
"The Shadow Cadets of Pennyroyal Academy" (a sequel), "Fangirl" by rainbow Rowell 9i've read it but I want to own it), and an iTunes gift card. I would ask for Hamilton tickets, but I wouldn't get it.

I know that my topping name is Fluaga, but I'm expirementing. Anyways...
My mom got me Fangirl to read on our roadtrip over the summer. It was really good!
