Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hey everyone. 

I know that there is a current issue. I also know that there are many talented, inspiring, wonderful people that are leaving because of it. 

I just wanted to say that if you are considering leaving because of what's happening or because of the Admin's decision, well, remember that it only really affects RPs and AE threads. There are still surveys and RRs and ski lodges and single writes and book critiques and SIs and so many other aspects of the CB that do not have anything to do with romance. And hey- RPs don't always have romance either. 

I know that you may disagree with what other people are saying. But-hasn't it always been that way? As CBers, we all have different opinions, and it all comes down to whether we accept that or not. This also means accepting each other's characters and AEs even if they have beliefs different than your own. We are not trying to convince you to view issues one way or another.  

Please don't feel like you are being shoved out of the CB by the decision the Admins have made. Nobody is forcing you to leave. Also, just because the issue is allowed doesn't mean you are supporting it by being on the Chatterbox. We respect your opinions, even if we might disagree. 

Don't give up on the CB. We can't all just run away from the people who have different views than us, or what kind of place would the world be? Please don't give up on us. 

If you are definitely sold on leaving, then I'm not going to try and convince you otherwise. I hope you can check back from time to time. Remember that the CB is always here for you no matter how long you are gone.
