Hi, Ch

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

 Hi, Ch

Hi, Chatterboxers!

My name is Tesseract, and I've come here from Museblog. I've noticed that several Chatterboxers have been drifiting over to the blog, and we're glad to have you! If you're planning on coming, a few tips. :)

First of all, we just say "Museblog," not "The Museblog." It's less of a mouthful. That is, keyboardful.

Second, it's really pretty easy to navigate. You can't make threads, you just reply to them. It's technically a blog software, so our threads and posts are really posts and replies. The most recent posts are in the sidebar. Once you're at a thread, just enter your name or a blogname you'd like to be called, your email address, and whatever you'd like to say. You'll definitely want to read the HG2MB and the Rules, which are found on the top bar. Lurking for a couple days isn't a bad idea, either; you'll get a good idea of the culture of the blog that way.

Thirdly, try to keep everything you have to say in one post at a time (per thread, that is). It keeps the blog neater and people friendlier that way. :)

And lastly, the pies are for welcome and STAY AWAY FROM THE BUNNIES.

Pies out!

Do you have to have Muse to join MuseBlog?

No.  Paige only just started getting Muse, and she's been on MuseBlog for ages.  :)

How do you find the MuseBlog? Is there a link off Muse's website, or what?

You can google it, I think.

I went to Museblog, and I don't understand it at ALL. Where are the threads?

'Recent Posts' off to the side, and 'Recent Comments' or something like that. And you can scroll down and click on threads on the homepage, like 'Logomania Unleashed!' You can't make your own threads, though. You have to email the GAPAs (who are the MuseBlog's Admins) asking them for one if you want it. Basically, the GAPAs make the threads though. Don't worry, it was confusing for me at first too!

No, don't email the OEADs. Just comment on the Suggestion Box if you want a thread. The SCAMPs have too much going on already to check their email every five minutes. Like, say, fixing the main page?

Piggy, eat some yocaun! It's really good! Why won't anyone try it?! C'mon, Piggy! *shoves bar of yocaun in Piggy's face* P*ease?!

f+h explained it to me at the H&H. To quote: "It’s a Japanese snack, made of condensed, sweetened red bean paste. Another
bean treat I like is what I call 'red bean paste soup.' My mom buys a
can of presweetened red bean paste, which is really called 'an' and
puts it in the pot with some extra water for the broth, then puts mochi
(rice paste) in it. And finally, there are an-pan (red bean bread) and
what I call an-mochi, which is basically an-pan but with mochi on the
outside instead of bread." I tried ["tried"] some. It's pretty good.

Um, shouldn't this be on the MuseBlog? I mean, most of us haven't been to the Hare and Hedgepig yet.
