My mom generally gets up around three or four in the morning, so breakfast in bed wasn't such a great idea. I crocheted her a suncatcher thingy and wrote her a poem. Well, it wasn't about her, but last night we sat outside around our firepit at her request, so I wrote about the fire. That's my general equivalent of a card - a poem. :) Works well. Because we were sitting around the fire, though, I had to stay up way too late to finish the suncatcher. My own fault for procrastination, I guess.

Well, we used to try to make her breakfast in bed, but because my dad would help, it would turn in to this very elaborate meal, and would take a long time to cook, while my mom gets tired of me exiled to her bed. So eventually, we would set the table with our fancy dishes, and put up "Happy Mother's Day" signs, and she'd FINALLY get to come down, and we would eat it.
So this year she said, I do not want to sit in bed. Make me dinner instead. (I didn't mean to rhyme) Ok!!! Well, my dad made some "apparently" good chicken thing, and I had pasta. Bleh. Oh well. At least it was shell noodles, so it tasted better than it could have. :D
Oh, and we clean the kitchen, and gave her an azalea tree, and gift certificates to two of her favorite nurseries. She was really happy. :)
Gotta go, bye!!

Well, I was supposed to help make breakfast for my mom, but I overslept, so my dad made her breakfast in bed. I got up as he was bringing it in to her. The day before (Saturday) we (well, my dad to narrow it down) got her a kayak. We were at our lake home that weekend, so some of us got to ride in the kayak. Then we just did our thing that morning and then went on a boat ride and had a picnic on the boat and swam. Then I was goofing off with my older sister in the water when my brother Teddy started yelling for help. I turned around to see my baby brother Charlie half way in the water with Teddy (who was on a float) holding him by the legs. Teddy couldn't pull Charlie's head out and I started screaming at him to pull him out (oh so helpful) and then finally Teddy grabbed hold of the strap on Charlie's life vest and pulled him out. That was the end of our picnic. Right after that we all went back to the house, cleaned up, and went home.

Yikes! Sounds scary.
You have a lake?

Oops, I didn't mean to send that in twice. And no, we don't have a lake, we have a house on a lake.

The weekend of Mother's Day, I was in Mankato because my cousin was graduating! It was a lot of fun. We went swimming a lot, and I got a lot of cute pictures! In the car, I made a whole poem book! I drew illustrations and everything! That's why I wasn't here during the weekend... busy busy busy! But it wasn't very long, I guess! Anyways, I got back on Sunday and then I had some time at home to do my homework and everything so I did that. Then I went to my cousins' house and we had lots of fun! Oh it was Annie, Mary Kate, and Emily! You remember them, right? I'm writing a play right now, and then we're going to do it! Annie is writing the secret agent theme song now...
Also, they said to tell you guys that they are really busy now. That's why they haven't been on in a while!!! :):)

Oh, right. That was funny when you found that out about each other! Well, tell Mary Kate, Annie, and Emily that we miss them and hope they can come on again soon! :)
