Do you ever

Do you ever admire someone too much? Someone older than you whom you really look up to, who you want to be like. And good examples are, well, good... but do you ever sort of start thinking too highly of them? There is someone like that for me I know in real life, and I get very shy around them; it's really annoying and I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem.

back to the Down to Earth

First of all, you get a hug, because I completely and entirely feel you. *hugs* I had this with one of my friends. I would see her somewhere, and then I'd instantly go blank and not know what to say. It's completely normal, don't worry! I'm not sure how you want me to help you, though. For me, I eventually got to know her better, and now we are the best of friends, so that took away some of the shyness. It may take time, but I've found that you just have to get more comfortable around them, for the shyness to disappear. Constantly remind yourself that they are human, just like you are. Thanks Cayke! I actually just stumbled upon their blog, which is making them seem a lot more human, as you say. Hope this situation works out as well as yours!
