HAIR HELP!!!!

HAIR HELP!!!!

I need help!!!!

So, I'll start off with this: My hair is straight, long, thin, limp, fine , blond and doesn't tease well. Just remember this.

Now what I need to say: So my dance teacher just told me I could wear natural hair to my competition in January, but I need something with volume. If you refer to the rant above, you will see that my hair doesn't tease at all. I have looked at many different styles. The one I'm thinking of is kind of like a milkmaIid braid but with pull out parts, if you know what I mean.

Suggestions on what in the world to do with my annoying hair?

Btw, once my hair scare is taken care of, everyone can post their own hair helps! I didn't know where to post this so I hope this is ok.

For static, I wouldn't know what to say. My hair hardly EVER gets static, only in winter. XD

For split ends...you do need to cut it. But not too short! JusT to where the split began. If they're bad, this could be a little higher then you might want. If they're not bad, it would only be about...well, I don't know. You'd really need to talk to your hairdresser/mom about it.

But trust me, once the split ends are out, it's SO much nicer looking, and slightly easier to take care of. I feel like long, straight hair gets more split ends then short, or even curly hair, but I wouldn't know, so don't quote me on that!!!!!

1. Get a trim, taking off those yucky dead ends.

2. Trim your hair like once a month/every other month.

3. How bad is the static?

Thank you all for the advice! The thing is, I can only get my hair trimmed once a year because I live too far away from any salon to get it done more often, and it is kind of expensive and time-consuming to go out there. And my hair isn't terribly staticy (it used to be worse), but it does come to the point where I have been told to try hairspray. I do have some, I just hate the feeling of it.

Do you have scissors at home? You could cut your hair there. Ask your mom if she could do it.
