Chatterbox: Down to Earth

*gasp-sobs*C

*gasp-sobs*

Coco and I are moving to Japan. In March. We might have to leave our dog and go to public school.

I don't want to do either. I know leaving the chickens is definetly happening, but -- I've lived in NC all my life, moving once to another house forty-five minutes away. And now we're moving to another country for three years.

@Cockle, if you see two identical twin boys with a sister about the same height as them (the family is really short) and they kids all have ash-blond hair, and one or both of the boys is wearing glasses-- well, never mind.

The boys would be so freaking scared if you approached them out of nowhere. Don't do it. XD

Although it would be hilarious to see their faces.

@Daisy. I'm going to miss you so much. It doesn't look like you're going to be able to come over for Haloween, but it does sound like I'll be able to get an email. Let's hope for the best.

*turns away sobbing*

Well, hey, at least I'll still be able to still do Cricket.

JAPAN!?!?!?!?!!! I did NOT see that coming. NOOOOOOOOOO. NONONONOOOOO. I want you to move to Virginia so we can meet each other!!! *starts sobbing* No! I don't want you to go! We could have met in Wilmington!

Aww. This makes me so sad. But I guess it will be cool to go to Japan. Will you have to learn Japanese there, or do you already know it?

And give your chickens big hugs for me. I'm so sorry about you having to leave them. I really, really hope your dog can come. I can't even imagine leaving my own chickens and moving to a new country across the world. You are a very brave girl, Cho. And I won't go up to random twin blonde people and say hi, I promise. Love you.

*cracks a smile* *hugs* Well, maybe we'll get stationed in Virginia in three years. *glances back at what I just typed* Sheesh. I'll be sixteen.

We won't have to learn Japanese, but it'll come in handy. And I only know a few random words like "Banana" or "Plate". And Duolingo doesn't have Japanese. :(

I'm better at German.

Ok. Deep breaths, girl. I can do this. I can say it.

NO PLEASE DONT LEAVE!

Thats not what I meant to say. I meant to say-

IM GONNA DIE

No, not that either. Sorry for my high strung nerves. *exhales*

Imgonnamissyouandpleasedontleaveokayiseeyouhavenochoicebutimgonnamissyousomuchandyouaremybestfriendeverandgoodbye,Cho!

Thats translated as, "I'm going to miss you and please don't leave. Okay, I see you have no choice but I'm going to miss you so much and you are my best friend ever, and goodbye Cho!"

I also want to add that I hope you have lots of fun in Japan and I hope you can take Hermes. He's so sweet.  :)

Aww, Cho, I'm so sorry! *giant bear hug with books and hot tea and sweets*

We love you, love you, love you, and we'll always be here to support you during your move. Also, think about it this way, three years isn't that long. I know it feels like it, but it really isn't. Plus, this'll be an incredible experience! I know I sound incredibly annoying right now, but truly, it will be. And you'll always have us on the CB, no matter what country you're in! You'll have to tell us ALL about Japan, okay? Pikny promise? By the way, public school isn't so bad. Look for your own comunity - no matter how much you think you stand out, there'll always be more like-minded people for you to bond with (I haven't found my own comunity yet, but I keep searching). There's tons of opportunities - clubs, the school newspaper, a literary magazine... An moving to Japan is a bunch of opportunities all rolled into one! I know, it probably feels like a tragedy, and it is, in its own way, but there's good things about it too. Think of Emma in Pies and Predjudice. And remember that we love you, and we're here for you through thick and thin.

(Okay, that sounded really, cliche, I'm sorry. But it came from the heart.)

not one,

not two,

but 4

ACTIVE VOLCANOS!!!

im not exagerating, look it up. and i miss fall and snow and my best friend ever who i havent seen in TWO YEARS!!!

I know what you mean. my mom lived on Hawaii for about 3-5 years when she was a kid. It's probably just like any other place. (I live in NY too.)

WAIT, YOU're MOVING?

LIKE STAY THERE FOREVER?!

But you were gonna show me that cool restaurant with the game shop!

Booo!

Does this mean you'll have to learn Japnese? Ah well, that's rough, moving to an entire new country. That sounds really scary.

Can you tell us what's it like though?
