Truth or Dare
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Truth or Dare
Truth or Dare Thread
So, we all know the classic game of truth or dare.
I've played it. Yeah, I was horrible because I refused to do the dares and wouldn't tell some truths. But it can be fun here on the CB! If you want to read one of the truth or dare threads of the cbs, here is the link:
http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/chirpatcricket/node/114415?page...
But anyways, let's start! Anyone can take this first one, but we must do this in order- one person at a time, please.
Ok- truth or dare? Who wants to pick first? And then I'll post back and give you the question/dare. Begin!
Caution: Admin will need to approve any questions and dares.

Truth!
(October 16, 2016 - 3:57 pm)
Hey, are you two still interested in making that thread we were sorta talking about on the Dream thread? Would you two still be interested in making a story about that? I am.
I was thinking maybe we could start a new thread on BaB or Inkwell or Pudding's Place and each write our own stories circling that theme? What do you guys think?
I don't know... you guys probably are too busy. :(

Is this my truth? Because I am definitely interested! How should this work... maybe we can work on the stories seperatly or together, whichever, and post what we have and critique each other's? Or we could do it like an RR? Or we could each write our story, then post it? What do you think? This is such a cool story!

Whoops, no, it wasn't your truth. I had posted that before I saw your comment. :)
It can be, though, if you want it or you can do this one: Ahem.
Truth: What is the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?
(October 17, 2016 - 6:49 am)
Ok, well I don't get embarrassed very easily, but here's one absolutely hilarious thing I've done:
Years ago, I was having a lot of trouble getting my kip (a gymnastics skill) on bars. All my team mates had gotten their's in July and August and it was October and I had only just gotten mine. I still wasn't very good and only made the kip half the time. I was better on low bar than high bar, but struggled. The first meet I didn't do either of my kips and had gotten a five. A five!
The highest possible score is a ten. The usual scores people generally get are nines and eights, so a five was absolutely terrible.
The days and weeks leading up to next meet, I worked harder than ever. I was determined to get a good score on bars this time.
At the meet I was feeling very nervous. I had only made one of my kips, the entire warm up. I was scared that I would get the same score, or even do worse than the previous meet!
The judge called my name and I saluted. I jumped off the springboard and did a glide-swing... into my lowbar kip! I did the rest of the lowbar part and jumped to highbar. And did my highbar kip! I was so shocked that I just stayed completely still on top of the bar, whispering:
"I did it. I did it. I did it! I did it!" I looked right at my coach, smiling with pride.
Now, one thing about competing is that the coaches and gymnasts are not allowed to talk while the gymnast is doing the event, or points are docked. So my coach could not tell me to keep going. He just clicked his fingers really loudly until I remembered that I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A MEET and finished my routine.
~~~~~~~
So, it wasn't too embarassing. The judges docked points for my 'I did it, I did it" thing, because they thought I was talking to the coach. It ended happily. That was the most embarassing thing I could think of, because as I said, I am not embarassed easily. Thanks for reading!
Also, about the story, I'm glad you're in!! I was thinking we could each write our own story, I'd really like to see how we interpret it differently and we can post it on the same thread? Let's make a thread on- hmm, which section? I'm so excited!
(October 17, 2016 - 6:51 am)
BaB probably, as not many people go there, so the thread should be able to last longer there. I'll do it, but I'll probably have to break it off for NaNo.
Dare me, so I can lie about doing whatever you dared me to do, and I can get credit!
(October 16, 2016 - 10:00 pm)
I dare you to listen to at least three songs by Taylor Swift!
(October 18, 2016 - 1:31 pm)
I did. My sister owns an album of Taylor Swift.
(October 18, 2016 - 6:32 pm)
Like heck will I let anyone touch my secrets. Dare please.
(October 17, 2016 - 5:46 pm)
I dare you to jump up and down if front of a friend or family member randomly and say "Ooh, pick me!"
(October 18, 2016 - 1:32 pm)
I'll take a dare!
(October 17, 2016 - 7:22 pm)
Hmm... I suck at giving people good dares, but I dare you to-
wear two different colored socks with flip flops. Bonus points if you can post a picture of the socks you used.
Haha, nice Cockleburr! Your turn to give someone else a dare/truth, depending on what they want. :-D
