My family and
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
My family and
My family and I went out to see a ballet last night, and this one happened to be "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
I just want to say it was amazing! Puck was absolutely hilarious (much like CB's Puck) and the music fit so well with the actors and the stories. Have any of you seen Midsummer's, or any ballet in general? I would have to say that this was my favorite one I've ever seen!
(As a sidenote--coincidentally, the music I'm listening to at this moment is the wedding march from the very same ballet.)

Hey, yep, I've seen many ballets--I dance--and many productions of Midsummer. I've actually been in Midsummer! It's a great play...

Funny, I saw A Midsummer Night's Dream (the play) last week, and it was brilliant and hilarious!
My favorite part was definitely the actor troupe's scene..."Thisbe" was hilarious!
I was worried I wouldn't understand it, since it's Shakespeare, but I did somehow!
If anybody is looking to see a first Shakespeare play, I would definitely recommed Midsummer Night's Dream!
In the play, Puck wasn't all that funny...he was just very weird. I imagine him to be very playful and mischevious in the ballet though.

I dance ballet and have performed in my studio's story ballet every year since I started dancing. I've also gone to see Ballet Magnificat! perform Stratagem, which was a story ballet based on C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters.
