I have a lot of questions about the world, and I thought maybe other people might have answers, or other questions of their own! So, just post any random questions you might have, or answers to the mysteries of the universe. 

So, just to put a extremly random one out there, why are bobbypins called bobbypins? did Bobby invent them?

Huh, I never thought of that before...

*stares at ceiling for hours trying to come up with a solution*

 

EUREKA!!!

Bobby pins were made like in the 1960's or something right?, The 1960's was when everyone wore their hair in a bob right?   So some person made pins to help keep people's bobbed hair in place and since thats pretty much all they were used for back then they called them BOBBY PINS!!!!

*gives herself a pat on the back* you are so smart Kaliedo... :P

P.S. This is a hypothesis, not a full out look-up answer since I'm too lazy to do it:P

And I have a question as well.  In the Vanishers, when they "vanish" you do you just disapear to yourself as well?  Like dead?  Are do they transfer you to an alternate dimension? Just a thought to muse over.

Huh, I never thought of that. Maybe your physical self vaporizes, and only your spirit is left. Just a weird theory.

Why is Iceland called Iceland when it's actually full of wildlife and Greenland called Greenland when it's covered in ice????

hmmm.... Maybe somebody named it that when it was green..... or maybe someboy ust wanted to confuse everybody.
