"Why not?"
Socks? Yarn? Rice? WHAT?!?!
DIYs are awesome sauce-some. I was hoping that some other CBers may like DIYs too... *Smiles hopefully, but is still doubting that there are any DIYerCBers (Do It Yourself-er Chatterboxer)*
Share your DIYs here (instructions optional)! ~I know, I know. There are probably not anyone who will share DIYs. I'll just hope~
-----------
Here's one that I found on the lovely thing we call the internet-
If you don't follow these steps who knows what will happen? And read the WHOLE STEP before you do anything. Or else something horrible will befall you (like messing up the project).
You need a sock (have it go up to below the bump on your ankle), a piece of string or yarn, some rice, and a microwave or freezer.
Step 1: Put some rice into your sock, fill it about halfway.
Step 2: Tie it tightly with the string/yarn. I about triple knotted it and trilpe bowed it (bowing it is optional, I just thought that it looked cute).
Step 3a: Microwave it for 30-45 seconds. My microwave was pretty powerful so I did it for 30 seconds, but apparently 45 is the right amount.
Step 3b: ~I found this on the instructions, but I never tested this step out, but it will obviously work, so don't be worried.~ Instead of microwaving the sock, you can put it in the freezer for 1-3 hours.
What you can use it for: You can use it to warm yourself up or cool yourself down. You can also use it as a fidget toy, which you don't have to microwave it/freeze it for. You can also use it as an icepack. You can also use it as something else that I haven't thought of yet.

Um, I don't know what to say, so goodbye and share a DIY!

OMGOODNESS!!!!! I love DIYing! (that sounds sooo wrong) I made a rope pumpkin just from a pic, a scarecrow face w/ scrap wood i found across the street, scrap wood pumpkins, a stick lady (LITARLY!), a F-A-L-L sign that I will share with...
You will need...A large brown paper bag, a yellow marker, some fun fallish construction paper, glue, tape, any kind of string and phantom of the opera music! (That last one was a suggestion!)
1: cut out of the paper bag 4 flag shapes
2: cut out F-A-L-L out of fall construction paper
3: before you glue on the construction paper letters draw on the flag shaped paper bag with the yellow marker
All done?Ok next step...
4: Glue on the letters to the flags
5: tape some string to the flags hang it up and you're done!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Here is mine...
