The Mandela Effect
The Mandela Effect
I don't usually make threads because I'm worried no one will post in then, and usually no on e does, but I think this is interesting enough. YOU! Yeah, you. I see you. Reading this. You better comment something! Don't make me the awkward post with 0 comments. Okay. Now that that's settled, the Mandela effect.
Lets talk about the Berenstein Bears. A family of happy bears, right? The BERENSTEIN Bears. Right? Wrong. MILLIONS upon millions of people remembering as the Berenstein bears, but it's not. It's the BerenSTAIN Bears. What?! It's ALWAYS been BerenSTAIN. But everyone remembers it as BerenSTEIN.
Now let's talk about Snow White. Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all, right? Wrong again. If you go back to the original version from the 50s and any official Snow White movie or book after that, it's always been "Magic mirror on the wall, who's the fairest one of all?" Which seems totally incorrect, right?
Curious George doesn't have a tail and he never did! Is anyone else confused by this?!
"Luke, I am your father"?? Watch the movie. The correct quote has always been "No, I am your father". What?!
Febreeze is not Febreeze. It's Febreze. It's always been.
Looney Toons? It's Looney Tunes. I know, it's crazy.
Kit-Kats? There's never been a dash. It's Kit Kats.
Barbara Streisand? Her name is and has always been Barbra Streisand.
So what's going on? Well it's called the Mandela effect because everyone who was alive in the 1980s remembers Nelson Mandela dying in jail and remembers seeing news reports on it and clips of the funeral. But that never happened. He died in 2013. Some people say that our world and a parallel universe collided in about 2005 or so, changing a bunch of little thing, and others say it was people from the future time traveling and changing tiny things. Both of those seen a bit far fetched, but I don't really know what other explaination there could be. What do you think?

I don't believe either of those theories.
(September 6, 2016 - 11:58 am)
Neither do I, but the whole thing still messes with my mind..
(September 7, 2016 - 7:54 am)
Wieeeerrd ... And it's also funny, because I spell it Berenstein, but pronounce it STAIN. Also, I know about the SW quote mix-up AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.

I don't know... Maybe someone started calling these things the wrong thing and everyone just copied them? But that Nelson Mandela is so weird... I have no idea. I think we'd all be dead if a universe collided with earth, tho. XD

I never liked that Curious George show (they always let him off the hook and sometimes he just acts so ridiculous), but I noticed he never had tail (also another reason).
He's apparently not a real monkey.

That is just strange. I could swear that I have seen it spelled BERENSTEIN on the front covers of some of the books at least.

Do you watch Good Mythical Morning Savvy44x? I knew most of the stuff you posted from GMM and was curious about wheter that was your source too.
Captcha says grew. Curious George grew a tail!

I don't. I watch another channel about conspiracy theories and this was one of them. I have seen a few random GMM episodes, though!

Yipe! (Said Brother, jumping into Papa's arms) Now I need to check this! My little borther has some of those...
Oh gargoyle, it's true. Now I'm going to go hide in a corner for the rest of the day.
*Whimpers* But I always thought it was "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest one of all?"
Kit Kats I know. But Looney Toons...isn't Looney Toons? Waaaaah!
I have never even heard of Febreze, and Barbra Streisand sounds only remotely familiar, so those don't bother me. But the others...? Seriously, it's "Luke, I am your father." *Googles* Ohhhh... *looks down* splosh. I GREW UP SAYING THAT AND NOW IT'S NOT THE REAL QUOTE???? Well I guess it is hard to hear dear old Vader through his mask.
Your lack of faith displeases me.
*Chhockckckkkkkspkkk*

My only reaction to this is
WHY
ARE
THERE
ALWAYS
ALTERNATE
TIMELINES.
(September 11, 2016 - 11:51 am)
Geez, that's weird. I only knew the Star Wars one.
(September 11, 2016 - 1:39 pm)
Oh my geesh this is crazy. I have never heard of any of these before. BUT, I don't think it's some alternate reality: I think that some people just messed some stuff up. Also, people were probably to hide Mandela's death for some reason or a number. There is a perfectly sane explanation. I hope.

wow!I knew some of them but like really?Thats soo weird!Have any of you heard about the ship that was completely abandoned?*She says in old sailor voice*It goes like this...once apon a beautiful sailing day the (let's make this ship up)Seawitch, the little boat, comes across a ship drifting on the cristal blue waters. The crew apon the Seawitch called to it saying "Ahoy there!" No reply."Ahoy there!Any one on board?" Nothing could be heard except the soft splish splash hitting against the boats. One more time they tried calling to it, but there still was no answer. So they boarded the boat. What they saw was...nothing.Nothing unusual, except there was no one on deck.So they went down the stairs that led to the cargo. No one.Nothing.The crew was gone, the Captain was gone and the Captains family was gone.It could not be explained. There was food on the table untouched and and their journals recorded nothing strange. Some people say it was pirates but it didn't look like a pirate's job. Some say they all got scared off but by whom or by what? That is the story of the ship on cristal waters...what do you think of my first story?I didn't make this conspiracy up though but I didn't copy it ether!(She says in her normal voice)I LOVE CONSPIRACY THEORIES!!!!!!
