Have any of you guys ever done MathCounts? It's a nationwide middle school math contest thingy. I just finished my last year :( but it's awesome, and I learned so much through it. But nobody seems to know about it! Or has anybody done Future Cities? I have a lot of friends who do that too...

They have MathCounts at my school! I'm not in it, because math's not really my thing, but several people I know do it.

Awesome, Allison. I'm strange - I like the English side of school, but I'm also into the math/science half. Just about the only thing I don't like is history, and that just because I greatly prefer having to grasp a concept to rote memorization. I guess that's why few people I know have heard of it - since I'm homeschooled, I come into contact with two groups of people: the kids at the writing co-op I go to and the kids that are on the Mathcounts team. Homeschooling does have its downsides, few and pale as they are.
