I candled the eggs today! They've been incubating for seven days. Compared to last time, these eggs are doing wonderfully! In over half of the eggs, there was something growing! It was really cool; I'll see if I can show you some pictures of what an egg looks like when being candled.
(Candling eggs is when you shine a light through them so that you can see what's growing inside.)

We have a lot of chickens, and there all big and fat. A mongoose recently killed our only chick. It was very sad. :( I've never candled eggs before, though, can you show us your picture?
