I just wanted to drop by and say something.
I'm an old CBer, and I haven't been on here in a while. I've been reading some posts today, and I have to say...
I'm really disappointed in everyone here.
You guys, there is enough conflict, disagreement, violence, and war going on in the world, especially recently. Why do we need to add more? Try to make the CB a place where none of that happens. Try to make the CB a place of acceptance and love. What good comes out of blaming and accusing each other? Our generation is the hope of the future. If this is how our generation is, we can't be very hopeful about the future. And just remember before you click the "Submit" button for that seething comment: one post or reply CAN make a difference. You CAN make the world a better place, starting with one post.
Please, everyone, don't add more hatred and hostility to this world. Make the CB a place where friendliness and humbleness shine through the darkness.
Hi, Bookbug! It's good to hear from you. I think we've moved beyond the disagreements to peace in the last few weeks. You may have been reading some older comments. Chatterboxers are good at resolving their own differences reasonable.

You see, Bookbug, each and every CBer has such a different personality. It's part of what makes the Cb such a wonderful, diverse place. But, seeing as we're so different, we don't always see eye-to-eye on everything. I didn't participate in most of the stuff that made up the "war," but I understand the gist of what happened.
But, being our incredible, unique selves, we were, and always will be, able to resolve. This is why I don't appreciate the thread you made, because it, in a sense, stirs up the dust and reminds us of the turbulent past. I don't want to remember this because, despite being dormant right now, it could just erupt again.
