Favorite HP Scene

Favorite HP Scenes

So, I spent this morning thinking, what could I do...? And the idea came to me. I spent all last night watching HP deleted scenes and top lines/scenes on youtube. And I thought, why not just rewatch the whole movie series? So I rewatched the first movie. Helped refresh my memory.

So, I bring forth a few questions for all you Harry Potter fans.

1. What was your favorite scene(s) in the first movie? Out of all the movies? Why?

2. What was the saddest scene(s) in the first movie? Out of all the movies? Why?

3. What scene(s)/facts made you the angriest in the first movie? Of all the movies? Why?

4. Who was your favorite character(s) in all the movies? The first movie? Why?

5. Who was the bravest of the characters in all the movies? The first one? Why?

6. If you could actually be/be best friends with a character, who would it be? Why?

7. If you could live in any of the HP movies/books, which one would it be? Why?

Note: Sorry if we give out spoilers. Optimally, you have read and/or watched the whole series. So be warned, there COULD be spoilers! Also, you don't have to answer all these. So, my answers:

1. Uhh... When Ron and Harry are on the train. That whole part. Especially when Ron discovers who his new friend is, and when Harry discovers pictures can move. Mainly because Ron is my favorite, and I loved the trio's friendship. That was really the start of it all. Or, the start is more at the 9 3/4 station when they had to run through. I loved that scene, too. And the snake scene, pig tail scene... etc.

2. When Ron nearly dies on the knight. Yes, I already saw the movies, I know he lives, but I was rewatching it. And I nearly cry every time I see it. Also, when Harry discovers the mirror and sees his parents again, but they aren't really there.

3. I'm refreshing my memory for these reasons. So I'll go off the first movie. The fact that the trio were so oblivious to who the real enemy/fake professor was. It was never Snape... He was trying to save Harry the entire time.

4. RONALD WEASLEY. He reminds me of one of my friends. And Ron is scared of everything, nice, and brave. Especially in the chess game scene in #1.

5. First movie: Ron in the chess scene. The remaining movies... Neville Longbottom and Ron. Especially Neville.

6. Is this even a question I need to answer? It is obvious - Ron Weasley because he is the best.

7. I love their personalities in the first one, all so carefree, young, and surprisingly troublesome and brave. So, as for now, the first one.

NOTE: It must be obvious I am a HUGE fan of the first movie and Ron Weasley. But Neville was really good, Hermione, Harry (particularly the first movie), Luna, Snape (I HATED Snape most of the movies), DUMBLEDORE. DON'T FORGET DUMBLEDORE.

Must I also add I spent all day rewatching the Harry Potter movies? That puts me at 2 already. I would have been done with the third if it were not for dinner and my brother needing help. Oh well, I need to take a break once and a while.

So, updated version for the 2nd movie:

1.  The car scene when Ron and Harry nearly get ran over by the train, and when they crash into the tree. Also, the Phoenix scene when he healed Harry.

2. Erm... When Hermione is found paralyzed, and when Ginny nearly dies. And when Harry nearly dies. All because I love those characters, and they never really deserved that. I also cringed when Lockhart removed Harry's bones in his arm. Ouch.

3. When Harry is oblivious to the fact that Tom is not on his side, that he was using Ginny. Not mad at Harry, but at Tom. The reason? He is Voldemort, no more explanation needed.

4. Still Ron, "Why spiders? Why couldn't it be follow the butterflies?" and "Can we panic now?"

5. Still Ron and Neville (later on), but also Dobby.

6. The same, the same. Ronald Weasley.

7. Still the first movie/book

I'll update this again after I watch the third movie tonight. HARRY POTTER MOVIE MARATHON.

I have a feeling this thread won't get any more comments than my own, but I will post anyways.

Updated for the 4th Movie:

1.

2. When Cedric Diggory died... I cried. And then when his body was brought back, I cried some more. I wasn't a huge fan of Cedric, but he was honestly a good kid. Never deserved to die, and so suddenly.

3. When Cedric Diggory was killed. And when "Moody" was revealed. As in, after the polyjuice potion had worn off. And when Peter Pettigrew cut Harry for Voldemort to return, but Harry couldn't do anything about it.

4. My answer remains the same. But Ron and Harry were sort of jerks to each other for almost half the 4th movie.

5. Sticking to my previous answers.

6. Same

7. Still the first one

Updated for the 3rd Movie:

1. When they go back and save Sirius and Buckbeak. When Harry created his first real Patronus figure.

2. When Sirius nearly dies, and Buckbeak is executed (before they switched time).

3. When Buckbeak is executed, and most people still see Sirius as the murderer. AND when Peter escapes and is discovered to have been with Ron for 14 years, I believe it was.

4.  Do I even need to answer this? Still the same.

5. Same.

6. Same.

7. Still the first movie. This one was great, touching, but very... confusing. Hard to follow with all the time changing. And Ron was barely in it due to his injury. And... They must have turned back time once to save Buckbeak, which is why they got pelted with pebbles and Hermione saw something in the trees, etc. Because they already had been there. And then they do it again, and the same thing happens.

i love the Snape romance with Lily. Being a romantic myself, I wish A book would be written about the love triangle between James, Lily and Snape in detail.

So true... even though I am not much on romance. I did find that very shocking, though, at first.

Please tell me: Am I crazy for spending 10 or so hours per day on Harry Potter movies and videos? I swear I am starting to talk with a British accent now too. I do that after watching HP by mistake.

Is it just me, or is Dolores Umbridge almost worse than Bellatrix? Just seeing her face I wanted to punch my laptop screen (I was watching the movie on there). She is a disgrace to the name of wizards.

Bravo to Fred and George for terrifying the witch (and I meant that in a terribly rude way, but she deserves it)!

Updated for Movie 5

1. When Fred and George disrupt the O.W.L's with their fireworks and terrify Dolores Umbridge to near death. Best. Moment. Of. All. The. Movies.

2. Of course, when Sirius Black is killed. Also, when Neville talks to Harry about his parent's cruel murder from Bellatrix. And when Harry is being controlled by Voldemort, and he is fighting in his mind with him. But really, the first two I listed.

3. When Voldemort tricked Harry by manipulating his dreams, resulting in Sirius's death. Also, when Bellatrix escaped. And when Umbridge stepped foot in that school. I HATE HATE Bellatrix and Umbridge with a passion.

4. Still Ron, followed by Neville, then Luna. Hermione is pretty good too, though.

5. Ron and Neville (but even Neville beats Ron in this case), and Dobby in the end.

6. Ron followed by Neville, followed by Luna. Or maybe Luna then Neville. But you get the idea.

7. Still the first movie/book. I am not a huge fan of Harry from really the 4th book/movie on. He is sort of a jerk. But I understand why, nonetheless.

Had to add this in: Sirius is amazing. I cried like I did for Cedric once he died... Especially when he told Harry they would be a family once this was all over... I cried hearing that. Mainly because I knew what would happen (having read and seen the movies all already). Bellatrix killed her own cousin... And Neville's parents. CRUEL LITTLE-
