Some of us have been here a long time, some just joined today. But we all have amazing Chatterbox memories that everyone would love to hear. I want this thread to be a place for people to look back at things they did, recent or years back, that they thought were funny, important, victorious moments, etc. Or to remember things you saw from before, different threads from years back. So, I'll start with some threads I saw today... odd what CBers were like back then in 2008. They all talked about very random things. Then again, we do today as well. So, those were one of the first/the first thread in each category. Weird, isn't it, what CBers were like back then? Also, one of my greatest memories from the years before I left was this World Domination game. It was one of the biggest threads on the CB, if not the biggest. And it started as two different group of CBers (only about 2-4 people total at first) who wanted people to join their sides. If I remember, one was the Dark Side, one was... the opposite of that, I suppose. They would try to gain members by saying things like, Join the (Name) side, we have Pie! Or... Pi! Then the others would say, Join OUR side because we have ice cream and books!
This then went more in depth once they gained members. It was a whole war game, strategies and all, to take over the world. I wasn't hugely involved, but that is one thing I remember from a few years back.
Anyways, I don't know how successful this thread will be. But if you wish to post threads from the past years, or recent memories (you don't need the link), feel free! I just want to share memories with everyone.

Thank you Scylla! I was there for the first one, and I think the second. I cannot remember if I actually participated. But they really started recruiting (with food) on the first one on page 3. Thanks for finding these, I never knew there was a 3rd World Domination.... Should there be a fourth? It looks like no one ever finished any of them (1 and 2 were combined).

Hmm... We could. But if so, I would want to lead as well. We'll figure something out. I don't know if CB needs a WD thread right now, though. It could lead to problems.

Okay. Maybe in a month? There could be two or three teams, each with a captain. That way we could both lead and other people could as well.

Ah, Cb memories? Coming here of January of this year, I don't have that many. But I do remember conversations distinctly for some reason. So, I appreciate the February 2016 AE Thread, and the march 2016 thread discussing Camp NaNoWriMo. I am extremely thankful Air posted that, or I wouldn't have discovered something awesome.

I once did Nanowrimo as well back a few years ago. My novel was over 50,000 words, I think. I loved it so much, but it was challenging. I remember back on CB that is all people talked about. We sort of had our own group on here outside of the Nanowrimo website.

CB memories... Oh there's so many! I'll try to put them in a rough order.
My first RP, the Epic Wizard RP.
When I first thought up BABTMP, even though I had a VERY rough idea of what an AE is.
A ton of stuff. (Including my first Ski Lodge, the creation of PSXtreme, a bunch more RPs... Oh, and the time I tried to explain AEs to my friend IRL. It was a bit weird.)

I love those! I haven't officially met BABTMP, but I have seen your AE around a few times. I've also been part of the Longest Thread Ever a few times now. I saw an AE Crush thread, and I did post on there as well. So long and confusing, that thread was! All those things are great, though.
I am surprised this thread has lived more than one post. It wasn't very well put together on my end. I was just sort of bored that day.

The Superhero RP I did 2 years ago is still my favorite. It spawned three sequels.
