1. I'm homeschooled, and my mom is going to make me do homework all through summer. :(
2. Good news! Yes. I am writing a novel and have 19 pages so far, I just met a new friend, my sister came home from Spain (she was doing a semester abroad), and I am cat-sitting although my mom and dad don't want a permanant cat.
3. My older sister and brother's friend died because he was hit by a motorcycle and became braindead. I didn't know him very well, but still,
.
4. I do a lot of writing on weekends, and sometimes I see friends on weedays. I also like to cook, (mostly bake) and I made cranberry-chocolate chip cookies with my best friend last week.
5. Well, future as in later in the year, I want to take an indoor rock climbing class with my friend, and hang some of the artwork I do on my walls. And future as in when I'm a grownup, maybe be a writer or illustrate children's books; or anything else.

1. The school year is ending pretty soon actually. After tommorrow (which I have off. Yay!) I have one four day week, then a weekend, then one day, then two half days, and I'm out of school. This next week I have a presentation and a last project to finish and one last week of the dreaded human growth and developement. The last three days are just yearbook signing and stuff, I think. So really just one more week of real work.

1. Coco and I have no idea. We might go all summer, we might stop here in a month or two.
2. A family moved in next door, and there's a girl my age! They all look really nice. There's four kids. A little girl who looks about five or six, a boy and a girl who look about 9-11, and then the girl who looks like she's 12 or 13.
3. Mmmmm .... No, not really.
4. Nice. I wake up, eat breakfast while listening to the Bible and HP 5, then get dressed, do my math, then handwriting, then I read/write/whatever for the rest of the day!
5. I want to go to college, then get married, have some kids, and be an author. Not a super famous one like J.K. Rowling. One like Erin Hunter or Tui T. Sutherland.

I still do some math and practice piano, but now I'm moving out of school and into summer writing lessons.
Good news: Shadowmoon and I saw each other for the first time in a few weeks shy of a year on Friday. It was like we'd never parted :) Also, my novel is around 70ish pages now, which is kind of encouraging.
Bad news: This is my six or seventh year of participating in a summer swim team, and I'm still the slowest girl in the 13 and 14s. And I found Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on TV and wanted to watch a few moments of it, and it gave one of my youngers brother disturbing dreams. I feel like that's my fault. It's hard to be the oldest and not get to do "big kid stuff" until everybody else is old enough to do it too. For instance: I only get to watch things like Pride and Prejudice, West Side Story, and The Book Theif when I'm on a sleepover or having a sleepover so that I have the right to lock the door. I did watch Brigadoon on the TV though because all the boys were at soccer practice :)
Day to day basis: I get up (reluctantly), eat breakfast, listen to Harry Potter while I make my bed and straighten my room and then draw, read, take care of the chickens, play outside, run if I'm not having swim practice that day (I don't swim on weekends and holidays and a few other exceptions), or swim if I do have swim practice, if so, I get home late and rush through supper, then listen to Harry Potter while I get ready for bed.
Future: Meh. I want to be the next Mary Oliver. And maybe Poet Lauriate (I spelled that wrong) too.

1. Three more days! And they're not really "real school," anyway. I have a field trip to an amusement park tomorrow, then awards night in the evening, then on Wednesday we get our yearbooks; Thursday is promotion practice, then promotion, then promotion party!
2. Well, I'm about 50 pages into my book! And, summer's coming! And, I get to go to Europe over the summer! And, I recently got into a writing anthology!
3. Well... Middle school's almost over, and high school's next year, and I'm SO SO SO scared. Aaaaaah!
4. I don't really know. Go to school. Spend some time with friends. Read. That sort of stuff.
5. I'd like to become a published novelist by college, then get into a really good school, study English and Journalism, become a famous author, marry. Yup, my ideal plan that's never going to happen :). But, hey, a girl can dream, right?

1. My school gets out on June 24th, last year it got out on the 26th. This year it's late because the town had the "wonderful idea" to start school after Labor Day. This made us start on the 8th or 9th, I think. Then we had about 5 snow days, even though we didn't get a whole lot of snow. (Although I guess I'm comparing this year to last year, and most winters can't beat last year's)
2. Let's see. Our school is finally done with our PARCC testing. (PARCC is the standardized testing system that our state started using last year. I'm not sure if other states use it or not, but some of it is really hard.) Also it's finally starting to get really warm out! The temperature hasn't been very consistent though. On Saturday it was 80 degrees out and I went to the beach. On Sunday it was in the 50's. Today it started in the 50's and then got really humid and went up to the 70's.
3. None that I can think of right now.
4. I woke up, eat, go to school, come home, usually have some screen time and a snack, play softball on Tuesdays and Thursdays, practice flute some days, read a lot.
5. In the sort of near future I hope to keep doing lots of fun things in band like concerts and trios, and hopefully a few contests. I also want to become a better artist and softball player. Much, much later, I want to become a teacher.

Sorry. It's late at night and I just need to get some of this off my chest.
I don't really have any friends anymore at school. My friends in middle school all moved away or have different classes and my nice friends from earlier years have sort of excluded me from their friend group. My friends who I have classes with all formed a squad without me and I think I'm generally disliked by most of them. So, I'm going to try to leave them alone as much as possible now.
Besides never being allowed into their group anymore, some of them are rather mean to me. They call me the r-word, tell me "go back to C5" (the special education classroom), and frequently make jokes about "my extra chomosome", insinuating that I have Down Syndrome. I do not! And I'm sure that everyone with Down Syndrome is much more well behaved than they are! They flap their arms at me and make noises like, "Buuh" to make fun of me in catatonic states, which I sometimes end up in.
I also get made fun of for the way I look, and I've been getting made fun of a lot for being white in high school. I live in an area which is very, very diverse and white people are not the majority. I get called rude names and teased for being white, and when I say that I'm part Mexican, which is a part of my culture that I'm really proud of and a culture I really identify with and experience in my daily life, people think I'm joking or else just laugh it off.
On a much cheerier note, my cats are now trilingual. They know a few words in English and Spanish because we speak a mixture of it at each other and at them. For some reason, when I need them to move, I've been telling them, "Scusi" or "scusa". I don't know why- I'm not at all Italian. But now they respond to Italian as well, so hey, good for the cats.
I'm so sorry to hear about this, Ruby. People can be so mean. Try to be on the lookout for anyone new or alone who might become a new friend. Maybe joining a special activity group or club (journalism, drama, choir, debate, etc.) will introduce you to new friends. You're a talented writer! And remember: you'll always have friends on the Chatterbox and we're always open!
Trilingual cats—Wow! Bravissimo! And there may even be a fourth: the language only the cats themselves know.

I will hug you, even though I only do this on the computer. I'm so sorry, Ruby. But I don't know what to do. *hugs*

1. I have three math lessons, and a test to do, and then I'm done!
2. I get to play Aunt Polly in a production of Tom Sawyer.
3. Nothing much.
4. Life is good. Weekdays I get up, procrastinate to avoid doing math, do my math, then do CB or read a book or something on Pottermore. Evenings I eat dinner, then watch some TV.
5. I'm not sure, but right now I kind of want to get a degree in Engineering or Architecture, get a job, meet somebody, get married and have kids.

1. School is ending June 27 for me. The end of the year will be pretty sad, especially as I'm entering middle school and some of my friends will be leaving my school. (My school goes to 8th grade.) I've had to think about it a lot, because I'm giving a speech at our weird graduation-thingy that they can't call graduation because not everyone is leaving. Instead, they call it the promotional ceremony.
2. See "chosen to give a speech." Also, I have a new sort-of best friend, which is odd but nice. In addition, (LOL school has put me into the habit of using transition words), our school band has a concert tomorrow.
3. My mother's friend, who she grew up going to Shelter Island with, who was actually more like a guardian, a friend of the older generation, died a few weeks ago. Also, I'm missing the Chorus concert because I forgot to tell my parents about it until today.
4. My old friends have created a sort of "popular group," which is actually pretty cool except that they're acting different. So that makes me sad. I also feel like I haven't been trying hard enough. However, today I tried very hard, my test scores are good, my food is good, my book (that I'm reading) is good, and I am finding friends in new places.
5. I want to be wise and have fun.
Unsolveablez says "ippy."
(June 1, 2016 - 4:51 pm)
I mean June 28.
(June 3, 2016 - 3:17 pm)
I'm kinda getting giddy because I recognise so many of these people ^^
1. I think school ends next Wednesday! I have LOTS of fun summer camps, so I'm pretty excited. I'll miss seeing my friends, though. But I can still text them, so It'll be okay! I will also get to go on ricket more, which is sweet too!
2. Everything's good ^^ We're working on this sweet project in social studies, and we're also having a party soon!
3. Regular middle school stuff :3 My friend just moved away, but I can still call her so it's okay! I don't want to bug you guys and force you to make a long paragraph for me anyways :P
4. I do online things. I also have to play piano everyday, and do homework of course.
5. I won't know until I'm there! Like I said before, summer camps and more writing. I'm rather unsure of what I want to do now, but I'll see!
(June 1, 2016 - 9:46 pm)
You're a lot happier than when you left. It's good to see ya.
(June 2, 2016 - 10:47 am)
ricket? Goodness, I need to check my writing first. I mean cricket xP
And in reply you, Cho, it's a bit easier to be cheerful rather then upset. If I do that, I make everyone else upset too, which I don't wanna do.
