DC and Melanie Martinez!

I have two things I'd like to talk about, so I'll make them into one thread. DC first.

Anyone remember last year when Ellie went on a field trip to DC for 4 days? Yep, I'm going now! It's actually only 3 days this year, but they're not cutting out anything, so we're just going to wake up at, like 5 am each day. Except Wednesday, when we leave, when we'll have to be at the school ready to get inter bus by 5, so we'll probably have to wake up at 4:30 or 4:15. BUT I'VE BERN WAITING FOREVER FOR THIS AND IT'S GOING TP BE FLIPPING AWESOME!!! Excuse the capitals. Hey, we'll be seeing the Capitol! Then the National Mall and the Smithsonians, then the Washington Monument and then...

Second topic. Melanie Martinez. I'm not really looking for other people who like her, because I don't anyone on here has even heard of her, but I'd just like to say that she's been a huge part of my life lately and I think I'm getting obsessed. Like how I was with Taylor Swift. I don't know. I'm literally listening to her now. If you want to look her up, my favourite songs by her are Alphabet Boy, Pity Party, Soap, Carousel, and Training Wheels. Some of her songs are kind of creepy, but these ones aren't, and even the ones that are are still really good. I have, like, 8 of her songs memorized already aahhhh I like her too much. Also if you're confused on what her songs are about, the album (Crybaby) is about her character (Crybaby) who is a little kid with a messed up family who cries a lot. So a lot of the songs are named after little kid stuff (Training Wheels, Play Date, Teddy Bear, Dollhouse, Sippy Cup, Tag You're it, Pacify Her, Alphabet Boy....).
