I'm going to Mammoth to learn to ski and I won't be back till Monday. I've never skied before—I hope it's fun!

back to the Down to Earth

YOU'RE GOING SKIING!!!!!????? I LOVE skiing! In case you couldn't tell, I am a bit obbsessed with it. It will definitely be fun as long as you don't get discouraged when you fall. It's super fun, and after a lot of practice, you can go on harder and harder trails, which is really fun. I've kinda over emphasized the word "fun" so I think I should just stop talking now.

I just finished my first day of ski school! (I know I said I wouldn't be on till Monday, but I managaded to, ahem, acquire my dad's laptop. Skiing is fun so far, but super-hard. I can go forwards, stop, and turn. To some extent.
