Chatterbox: Down to Earth
I, I kinda
I, I kinda need some support right now.
I have an amazing teacher.
He's leaving at the end of the year, though.
But, today, during supper, my dad got an email.
He resigned.
Nobody had hinted.
Nobody said anything.
He's gone.
Cut off contact.
Everything.
I hate him.
But I don't.
I'm so mad at him.
But I'm more mad at myself.

Last week, one of my teachers resigned. He was a really good teacher, but now all of the students are blaming him for the... er... incident that happened. It was really confusing, and now everything's messed up at my school. He was involved in everything. He taught more classes than any other teacher at my school, and now we need a replacement for all of them. I think next week we are getting a new teacher, which is really weird in the middle of the year. So I know how you feel.

It's different. Sean was... I don't know. I was incredible. He did everything. He and the class were equals. We weren't anybody below him or above him, just equal. I loved seeing him laugh, and his mood was infectious. Now he's gone. Not just resigned, gone. He didn't say goodbye, didn't give us any hint.

Wow. That sounds... really awful. There was a teacher who lost his job midway through the year, but everyone was happy because he threw marker caps at us. Of course, they never actually hit us, but still.
You, though, feel sad. But don't blame yourself. I'm sure he didn't resign because of you. It was most likely because of a family situation or because of some other emergency/trauma.
I'm really sorry.

There's a really complicated situation at school, and we knew he was leaving at the end of the year, so a few friends hacked into his email to look for anything he said. We know why he was going to leave -- but it doesn't add up. Not now. I suspect foul play. It's super complicated, though.

Wow. Your friends can hack? You must live in a really smart area.

No, just my school. It's for... disturbed people :). I don't know what to do on Monday.

Wow. I'm really, really sorry. It was a bad thing for him to do. I hope you'll find a nother good teacher. I'm sorry.

It wasn't him, though. He was basically kicked out because he doesn't want to fit into a box, which is what the school is about

Maybe you should email him. Just tell him what an amazing teacher he was, what a difference he made in your life, how you loved that he treated you all as equals and end it with how much you want him to come back. Or, if you know what his address is, send him a letter signed by everyone in your class telling him things like that. Thank him for teaching you and make sure he knows how grateful you are to him and how much you want him to keep teaching you. Hope this helps!

So, very... complicated things have arisen and... well... complicaions. I can't explain more, unfortunatly, but... we aren't allowed to contact him without extensive permission because he was basically... fired. But not. They're hiding stuff.
