Firstly, to preempt any questions: NaNoWriMo is a project where you write a novel (50,000 words) in a month in November. YWP is a project for anyone under 13 where you write a novel (you chose the word count) in a month in November. Camp NaNoWriMo is a project where you write a novel in a month in April or July with twelve friends in a cabin. This way you get to see your friends' projects and celebrate with them when they reach their goals! Sadly, Camp is only for those 13 and up, though you can unofficially join in and write, of course, anytime!
Anyway, I've decided to make a cabin for CBers! If you're 13 and over and want to write, whether you've done it before or not, it's campnanowrimo.org to sign up.
I've done this last April and July and this most recent November. I've never led a cabin before, but I really want to get to know a lot of CBers better! I know a lot of you might not be 13 yet, but I'm sure everyone on this site loves reading and by extension, writing! I'm overusing exclamation points!
In order to join the cabin, you need to 1. make an account or update your previous years' account 2. make a project and 3. give me your username (don't worry, the admins allow NaNo usernames on CB) on this thread.
It's more about the social aspect and being able to write together in a cabin, so don't worry if you aren't confident in your writing ability. We're all in this together (no, I promise, I wasn't singing).
I'm linhcinder_solarpunk, by the way, if anyone wants to NaNoMail me.

I'd like to be in your cabin! I'm Booksy Owly on NanNo as well as here.
Also, a question. I know that continuing a novel is OK for Camp NaNo. Would it be OK with you guys if my project would be working on a novel that I'm co-authoring with two of my friends?

I would like to be in your cabin, please! I will post my username later.

Awesome! I'm pretty new to NaNo, and this is my first Camp month. How do I join this cabin? I would love to! If you need to NaNomail me, my username is TARDISrider.

Owly: You need to make a project, even if it's just untitled and blank. Otherwise I can't add you, sorry!
TARDISrider: I can't seem to find you... are you sure your account is on Camp? Once you confirm your username and make a project, I can invite you and you can accept the request!
Thanks guys for continuing interest in this!

I want to soooooo bad! But I'm not quite 13! It's so sad!!!!!! Waah.

I am 12, not 13.
Is there any other NaNo-like thing I would be able to do at my age?
(March 6, 2016 - 10:20 am)
Young Writer's Project is open to anyone younger than 18.
(March 6, 2016 - 7:15 pm)
Young Writers Project....Okay, got it! Thx! :)
(March 7, 2016 - 8:44 pm)
Yup! You can do regular NaNo during November! With me … sigh.
(March 6, 2016 - 8:21 pm)
There is YWP, that is, Young Writer's Program, which you can join at any age. They have Camp cabins on the website.

You have been invited! Thanks, Jarvis.
@Will T. You need to make a project to be invited!

This sounds pretty fun! Can I join the cabin? My user name will probably be Cockleburr, because I really like that word!
