Chatterbox: Down to Earth
So, if any
So, if any of you have noticed that I've been gone for a week (which you probably haven't, it's only been a week, but whatever) just so you know, I was in New Hampshire! Skiing! And it was AWESOME! I'm really happy and proud, because I skiied my first black diamond trail. I was actually really suprised that it was a black diamond. I thought it could be easy enough to be blue. The second black diamond I skiied was actually pretty hard--it was supersteep! But I skiied it and actually enjoyed it very much.
I'm now going to post a thread on CaC about my CBversary.
Toodles!

I was skiing too! This is my 6th year skiing and I really love it. I was in New Hampshire just like you, but I started skiing black diamonds a few years ago. (Sorry if that seems like bragging. I'm not trying to say I'm better than you, or anything like that.) I remember my first black diamond. It felt sooo good to finally be able to ski one. I was probably going ten times slower than everyone else, but at the time, I didn't notice. That trail has become my favorite trail on the mountain. Congratulations on doing your first one! Just out of curiosity, what mountain did you ski at?

I went to Cannon Mountain. And no, I don't think it's bragging that you've been doing them for a while! I don't ski that often, and I certainly don't think I've been skiing for six years, so it makes sense that you'd be a lot more advanced than me!

Cool. I went to Attitash, Wildcat, and Bretton Woods for February Vacation, but I skied my first black at Mt. Sunapee, and I've skiied there a lot.

I'm glad to see some other CBers ski! I went to River Run on President's Dy weekend ad skiied a bunch of blue (and one black) trail. My family loves to ski, so I've been to a lot of mountains, but I'm not nearly as good as my dad, who could be a pro even though he's 50.
@Dragonrider: sounds fun! I wish I could have seen those trails.
