I'm Mirax Terrik. (Star Wars fandom, for anyone whose wondering) I'm new to CB but have been looking around for a coulple of days. I'm homeschooled and love Star Wars books, Star Trek and Pride and Predjudice, as well as most kinds of fantasy. I am most exited to start joining RPs. I'm going to name my Captcha Whistler. Whistler says bvee. Does he mean a Volkswagon beetle?

Hi Mirax! I'm Air, and not usually on here a lot anymore (school is eating my braiiinnnns and I'm older than most CBers on here [14]) but I also love Star Wars and other sci-fi (solarpunk, anyone?) plus P & P! I actually just finished Pride and Prejudice, but I'm excited to get a start on Emma and Sense and Sensibility. Any suggestions on which one to read first?

My post was lost for a bit but I just found it! Air, Sense and Sensibility is a slightly easier read but Emma is really funny. I'm so glad everyone likes Star Wars. Any recomendations for what books to read next? I've read all the X-wing books, the Thrawn Trilogy, and the Truce at Bakura. Whistler says cvnp. I have no idea what he means.

Welcome! I'm Scylla, nice to meet you. I've never seen nor read Star Wars in my life, so… Here are some pointers to help you get along in the CB.

Æs- Alter egos. Be careful with these- not everyone likes them. They're characters, often crazed, that you create and develop in your CB posts. I have an Æ, Russet (Russ). It's a pile of miscellaneous fluff and stuff that randomly recites memorable book quotes, and is not crazy or insane in the least. Quite companionable, and very enjoyable company.
CAPTCHAs- The image code at the bottom of the submit post window that prevent spam submissions. You seem to know these well enough. My CAPTCHA is a pocket shape-shifter named Eo-Lahallia, or Hallia, as she's known.
SIs- Secret Identity games. These are where CBers post on a thread under the disguise of an item in a theme selected by the thread creator and try to guess which CBer the others may be.
RPs- Roleplays. You create a character (charrie) and write from said charrie's perspective.
RRs- Round Robins. Someone posts a paragraph that introduces characters and events and others continue the story, introducing new charries and events but keeping the old ones, too.
Top- What we say when we want to put a thread to the front page of the forum.
CB- Chatterbox, obviously.
Admins- The Administrators. They look over every comment to make sure it's appropriate before posting it, which is why comments aren't posted immediately. Sometimes, they'll leave a note at the end of a CBer's post, answering questions and the like. I'd like to be an Admin. I think it would be interesting.
These are all the guidelines I can think of for now. Enjoy yourself and be creative, and above all, have fun on the CB!

Hi! I'm Leaf, and I am a huge Potterhead. I love books and drawing and I have a million extracurriculars. Princess says "ifvc". If voicechat? Princess, I don't know how to do those!

Thanks for the recommendations, Mirax! Well, for Star Wars canon I'd totally recommend The Lost Stars, especially how it leads up to TFA. Did you watch the movie yet? I feel like I should watch it again, it was so good.

Thanks for the guide Scylla! I did watch the new movie Air, Rey is the best. Finally a girl Star Wars movie hero! I'm hoping she's related to Obi-Wan. Whistler says mfto. You're miffed with your toe Whistler?

Hi Mirax! Welcome! Hmm... funny I'm saying welcome when I've only been here like 2 weeks.

I love almost all books and love (LOVE) running, swimming, biking, math, being weird with my friends, and yeah, stuff like that. OH AND DOGS. I just realized that my CAPTCHA doesn't have a name. THAT IS A PROBLEM!!! Any suggestions cbers?

I love Star Wars too! My favourite is R2!!!!!!!!!! Rey is cool too, I hope she becomes a jedi, we really need more female jedi. 

My nameless CAPTCHA says ggvd. I wonder what that means.
