Hi, I'm Lyra! I like reading, writing, knitting, sculpey, and I am a competetive gymnast. I am new to the chatterbox, so I want to meet some fellow Cricket lovers!
Good job to all the people who got published! I want to try to RP, but I don't know where to start! Any tips about that would be very appreciated! Also, what does TOP mean and why is it posted all over the place??? Thanks for reading this!

Hey Lyra! Welcome to the CB. I am a Tolkienite/Ringer and hate Harry Potter/Percy Jackson/ most stupid bestsellers. So, how are you? It's great that you're here.

Yup. Okay! So I don't have the link for the guide to the CB, but here's a brief intro.
TOP: By topping a thread, you post on it to try to get it to the top f the forum because it is weird and sendings new threads that have been posted on to the last page. So, if someone says top, they want to get the thread back on the front page.
CAPTCHA: The captcha is the thingy down there that prevents spamming. Some people take their's in as a pet and will talk about what they say.

Hi everyone! Thanks for answering me! Maybe I could change my nickname to something esle because as some people may have noticed the name was because I love The Golden Compass a lot! Any suggestions to what I should change it to?
Also, I am looking for something new to read, so what are some good books?

Ha ha! Didn't think of the pokemon thing, but eevees are so cute! I think i will spell it Eevee! I am going to change my name to Cockleburr because Scylla says there is already a Lyra on the CB. I like Cockleburr better actually! The word feels so good in my mouth!

Hi Lyra, I'm sorry I didn't post sooner I thought you were they other Lyra. I'm a gymnast too, what level are you? I'm not sure what number I am but I'm intermediate advanced so...? I've tried knitting but I've only made one thing so far, a blue hat, and I'm not very good at it, and of course I like reading and writing. I play guitar, and I've written one song called Optimist. I wish you all could see it, but it's on YouTube, and I can't give you my username for safety reasons. I sing a lot, but I don't take lessons like I do with guitar and gymnastics, so it's kind of a side hobby. I love Percy Jackson and all other Rick Riordan books, also A Series of Unfortunate Events. I watch Gravity falls and My Little Pony (it's not for babies! Don't judge me!) and... Yeah! I like art, too, but I'm TERRIBLE at it. I'm a picky eater who's obsessed with girly colours, England, and live action role plays mostly at recess with my friends. I'm 11, but I prefer 10, so think of me as 10. See ya around!

Cockleburr is good. One of my top five favorite Pokémon is Eevee, so I'm glad to see you naming your CAPTCHA that. What's your favorite evolution? I can never decide, but I think Leafeon's mine. My own CAPTCHA is a pocket shape shifter named Eo-Lahallia, but she prefers to be called Hallia. Right now she says xwmm. Maybe she saw X trying to swim? Okay...
