Hi, I'm new.
Hi, I'm new. I just wanted to put this out there and let people know about myself. As for books, I love Harry Potter, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and a bunch more that are too many to name. I also happen to like the video game Minecraft, just as an aside. I hope I can become a part of this community quickly, because the Chatterbox looks like a lot of fun. I wasn't sure where I should post this, so I just picked a place at random. Anyway, I just wanted to put it out there that I am a new Chatterboxer. My CAPTCHA is named Kitten.

I'm sure you will indeed become part of our community fast; I did! I joined at the end of September and the people gave me a wonderfully warm welcome and wiggled their way into my heart! (yay for alliteration!) Now I am part of the chatterbox family welcoming committee! (Which I indeed just made up, although I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to welcome you and all the other new people!) If you have any questions feel free to ask me or anyone! For the most part all of us are friendly!

Hey, I want to join the committee! Anyway, this is my welcoming speech. If there's weird formatting, I copy-pasted.
I'm pretty new to C.B. too, but I think I've gotten the lay of the land. I usually hang out in the Inkwell, where you can do things like roleplays and basically all things writing related. The Chirp at Cricket section is... I guess it's just where you can chat randomly with people. This Month is where you talk about things in the issues of Cricket magazine and can ask the Admins if there can be a certain kind of story in a future mag. Down to Earth is also a place to chat. It doesn't need to actually be about the earth. Pudding's Place is where you can create plays with others and talk about all things performance related. And lastly, Blab about Books is where you can talk about, make quizzes on, trivia on, and discuss your favourite books. Hope to see you around!

I love HP, too! I think it's great that you love Laura Ingalls Wilder; after all, I was once her for Halloween! (Even though I think I'm the only person that's done that.) Anyway, I love that your CAPTCHA is named Kitten...but maybe you should have named him/her CATPCHA! Get it? ;) But Kitten is cute, too. The word brings happy thoughts into my head.
...Anyway...welcome again! The CB is a really great place, even though like Over the Rainbow said, we're going through some hard times.

YAYYYY for Laura Ingalls Wilder!!!!! (And for being her for halloween- I once did that too!!)
Glad to see another new face around! I'm The Phoenix (formally someone else;)) and on of the oldest (I request confirmation on that) CBers. I love LIW/Harry Potter too (Fun fact: My high school consists of four houses and I'm in the equivalent of Ravenclaw). I also enjoy biking, walking, readin, writing (I'm an intern at a local newspaper!!!) and the lot. Oh, and I'm partically homeschooled. Long story;)

I shall give you a brief overview of the Chatterbox.
Down to Earth is where we discuss problems, what is going on in our lives, etc. It is a bit of a mushpot, I think
Inkwell is where most if not all RPs (roleplays), RRs (Round Robins) and discussions about NaNoWriMo happen.
Pudding's Place is where we talk about movies, music, and the arts.
Blab About Books is reserved for book related conversations.
Chirp at Cricket is usually where we talk about the Chatterbox itself and is also a bit of a mushpot.
This Month is by far the least used of all six places, and is mainly used to discuss this month's magazine.
I can't wait to get to know you better!

It's lovely to have you here! I love kitties! I have a cat, who, in fact, destroyed my new shoe box. I just got new shoes today, white so I can draw on them, and the box was already slightly destroyed, but my cat sat in it and destroyed it! Sometimes I wish I could be a cat, content with the little things in life, sitting by the fire in a broken box.

It's Fabulous to have you here! We have so many wonderful *coughcoughslightlyinsane* Cbers on here! Cber is short for Chatterboxers, while Cb is short for Chatterbox! If you don't already know this, the Chatterbox is the Inkwell, CaC (Chirp at Cricket), and so on!
It WONDERFUL to have you here!! Do you like Cakes? *Coughcoughcake* I like cake! Round Robins are fun things that people take turns writing to create a story. Its turns out very interesting and wonderful with the combined ideas of the lovely Cbers.
It is FANTABULOUS to have you with us! I am thrilled at all of the new arrivals on the Chatterbox and hope you stay to make it an even more wonderful place, full of happiness, insanity, and writing.

Hi, KittyGirl! Welcome to the Chatterbox, a wonderful community of readers, writers, and rebels. It's nice to meet you! This is the place where you can post your fears, thoughts, opinions, stories, novels, and fangirl like crazy over Leo Valdez. Or maybe it's just me who does that last one.
Here's a little CB lingo to get you started:
AE: Alter Ego. Some people have dual names/personalities that they post under, called AEs. Most are insane and/or homicidal, but not all. (Like my AE, Critic A. She's not QUITE as nuts as most.)
RP: I type of story where each has a character and writes chapters from the perspective of that character. These are really fun, and work best if you write a lot and move the plot along.
The "Zones" on the CB (Chatterbox) are This Month, Chirp at Cricket, Down to Earth, Pudding's Place, and the Inkwell. On This Month, you can talk about Cricket issues. On Chirp at Cricket (sometimes called CaC) you are SUPPOSED to talk to the bugs on, but really most people use it to play games and things. :) On DtE (Down to Earth) you can chat about school, the enviorment, and the world around you. PP (you can probably guess what this one is) is for the arts and, of course, murder mysteries and SIs. Finally, the Inkwell is for writing and RPs. Have a GREAT time on CB, Kitty!

So I'm Joss, I'm 13, and I L.O.V.E cats. I have only two cats, but I used to have another one that we gave away because she didn't get along with our other cats. We still visit her sometimes. Plus, the next door neighbors have a cat that practically lives in our backyard. I also love acting and singing! And writing! And I like Minecraft too! So, yeah!! Welcome to CB!
