Hi, my name is Jade and I'm new, but I have been watching this site for about a month. I finally got the nerve to post! I am kind of shy (okay, really shy) in real life. Here are some facts about me-
My favorite colors are purple and gold.
I have a beagle named Smuckers.
My favorite foods are fruit and veggies. I think that meat is okay, but I could definately live without it.
I thrive in the heat of Phoenix.
I am homeschooled.
I have never read Harry Potter or Twilight and I don't want to.
I love animals.
I am Catholic.
I love to cook.
Now I have a question for everybody: what is your favorite thing about this site?

Welcome! It's so great having someone new on this site. As Koffee and Kake would say, we welcome you with open arms and bananas! By the way, don't try and figure the banana thing out... ;)
I'm homeschooled, too, and I love it!
My fave thing about this site? Probably how easy it is to make friends on here! If I knew you guys in person I would end up being too shy, but online it's easier... ;) I also like the discussions, like about books and stuff. Hi, Jade, and welcome! I love animals, too. A lot of people on this site are homeschooled, too. I'm not and don't think homeschooling would work for me, but I've always been interested in what it's like. My favorite thing about this site? Definitely Chatterbox, and my favorite thing about Chatterbox? Hmm....probably how I can "talk" to and get to know and share ideas with all these people across the country that are a lot like me, but whom I would never have "met" otherwise.

We sound very much alike!! ;) I'm the same with Twilight/Harry Potter. Especially the movies! Is Jade your real name? It's really cool! I love that color! :) I love soccer and crafts. I'm Catholic and homeschooled also. So are some other people, but you might already know that. :):) I feel like there's someone else from Phoeni, too, but I'm not sure who...

Welcome Catholic buddy Jade!!!! I'm so happy you posted!!! You'll have a lot of fun. The best thing about this site is the people. Everyone is so nice!!!! I'm homeschooled, too, as are most people here. I'm Catholic and I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I will be 13 years old tomorrow! I am really shy in real life too, except around close friends, like everybuggy in Chatterbox. Well, that's all for now.

I have two cats, Casey (girl) and JoJo (boy), and a netherland dwarf bunny named Hazel. :)
I love most colors, but I say my fav is light blue.
I love to read, I gobble up books, and hardly ever go on Blab About Books, cause I'd never get off.
I love to cook, too.
There's a lot more about me that I could say, but I don't feel like it. I've described myself so many times on here, that I couldn't possibly do it anymore. :)

Welcome! It's nice to have a new person! Sadly, most post once, and then never return, so we try to give everyone a VERY hearty welcome!
My fave part of the Chatterbox is probably... the people! I know that everybuggy says that, but I feel like I know all of you really well, without, actually, knowing you. I'm not shy, but most likely a real conversation with any one of you would be awkward:
"Uh, hi... so you're the, um, weird one on the chatterbox, right? Er. I'm Willa. You know, the other weird one?"
Nervous laughter would follow, then we would talk about exactly HOW awkward it was, and finally be friends. Whereas on the Chatterbox, you can jump right in and skip those formalities.
