It's weird how

It's weird how timing can work. Two other threads are posting their goodbyes, and so am I.

Yes. I'm leaving. I'm sorry. I'm going to keep this short and concise.

You have all been wonderful people, who deserve more then they get. Please appreciate each other. No one can get these opportunities of enjoying each others company.

Thank you SO much, cbers and friends, for giving me the pleasure of writing with you. And thank you, too, admins, for reading through my posts even if I may or may not have over-powered the other characters.

Also, I have many reasons for leaving, mostly because I don't really have any reasons to go on here anymore. I haven't yet found something that I immensely enjoyed, but.... Sooner or later I will find my people and make friends.

I also want to concentrate on school work. School... Has become a rather stressful thing for me, and I don't exactly have.... Any friends.

I think that's enough for now. So.. Goodbye?

(Yes. I'm truly leaving. I won't be writing, I MAY check (may) once in a while... But... No more writing.) 

 

We'll miss you, Danie. Do check back every so often.

I'd like to say I know exactly how you are feeling. In truth, no one does. This is your own decision and I'll try to respect it no matter how selfishly I want you to stay.

Something I can tell you? You will find your group. You will find some people who you will connect will. It will probably take longer than you want. And it will probably be pretty unexpected.

It can be hard to keep shoving smiles and friendship out at a world that seems to suck up every inch and spurt it out at the wrong people... but trust me, it will come back at you. It took a year for me, and I pray it will be shorter for you...

Just don't give up. Keep on being that bright, lovely Danie we all know. You will (crossmyheartandhoptodie) find your niche in this world.

Please stay in touch! We will miss you but we do understand about school... definitely. Hopefully you are never gone for good, CB Alumni as the Admins say are still part of the family!

Goodbye, Danie. I won't try to change your mind, but I'll miss you. You've always fit in perfectly and had friends on the Chatterbox. Let me assure you, we won't forget you. I feel you, though, when you talk about school being stressful. Me too! Anyway, goodbye! Have a good time!

These goodbye threads always make me first gasp in astonishment, then almost start crying.

P.S. Remember Flora and Ulysses: Do not say goodbye, say "I promise always to turn back towards you.

P.P.S. Does this mean Squeak will disappear too? Oh, no.

P.P.P.S. Rosario will miss you, too, especially since Squeak was the only other sane AE on the CB.
