A lot of people have said this, and while I thought this would never happen, I agree. THERE ARE TOO MANY RPS ON THE INKWELL. I'm sorry, it's just that to me there seems to be RPs popping up every five minutes. And we can't really have that. The Inkwell is really overcrowded now, and while I understand that you think your RPs are really excellent, they should seriously be put on hold. Just until the Inkwell thins down a bit. Because some of the older and better RPs (coughcoughmagicrpcough) are dying because everyone has to juggle five million RPs.
Now, here's where this thread comes in.
This is an ideas thread.
Post on it with your RP idea. This is not a "hey, what do you guys think?" but more of a "let me write this down so I can remember it later" thread. Please, no copying off someone else's idea. When the Inkwell starts slowing down again- which it will, if we stop making so many RPs- then we can start posting some more of your amazing ideas.
I hope you understand why I'm doing this.

Well, St. Owl, I agree the Inkwell is über-crowded with RPs and maybe it would be good to lay off for a while and try some other things like Round Robins and Ski Lodges and whatnot... but... I don't think it's fair to tell somebody "You can't to RPs anymore." Really only the admins can decide what gets posted. I don't have a RP idea, I just wanted to say that.

Yes.....l feel like there isn't room for new ideas anymore.
The older RPs aren't dying, they're just slower. And llike that, it gives me some room to post. But things can go really super fast on here, l was gone for a week this summer, and when l came back, people have left, RPs have died really fast.
l hate when an idea dies simply because there isn't enough interest at the time. l put my heart into every character l make, and to see that die....it's like part of me is dying too.
@Abigal: It's fair to say that we're having somewhat of a problum with the current Inkwell status. It's fair to say to someone, "We have a problum here. There are far too many Inkwell threads, don't make it moe of a problum by adding some."
It's not that you can't make RPs, it's just that please wait till things slow down until you do.

Yes Shadow, I agree. I meant that I didn't want to discourage anybody if they really had a great idea and wanted to make a RP. But sometimes I do feel like people are making RPs just for the sake of it, which is the main reason the Inkwell is crowded.

I really can't say that I have much of an idea of what's going on in Inkwell, but by the looks of it, yes, there are a bunch of RPs. Too many. I know RPs get started, then fail- wouldn't it be nice to finish some already?

That's true. I think also it's about only making an RP if YOU are committed to it and if you can find other people who are committed. Because posts with just one or two posts that are just tops aren't that... helpful.
