My school play
My school play is tonight, and I'm in the pit band. Has anyone else been in a Pit Band? Any advice? The play is Willy Wonka Jr.

Hi! I haven't seen you in a while... anyway, no I haven't been in a pit band. Sorry, no advice... But, if you are nervous, take Old Cricket's advice, and eat a banana before the performance. (unless you are allergic. That wouldn't be good) :D :D :D (oh, or if you are like my dad and his sisters, they get shaky when they eat bananas, the thing that they are trying to avoid)

Where did Old Cricket say that? Or are you getting him confused with Koffee? :)

No, it was on a thread I made around Xmas because I had a singing recital and I always get really nervous. I don't remember the title of it, though. :)

Hardeharharhar. No, that actually is good advice and I'm not just saying that. Bananas soothe your stomach and help clear your throat. It's just like how your supposed to not drink milk before you sing at a performance. Helps with the flittery flutterbies that have a habit of coming on right before something important.

Breathe. If you get nervous, just breathe. If you can, close your eyes and take a minute to imagine yourself somewhere relaxing or with someone relaxing. I'm sure you'll do fine! And that sounds like a fun play. What is it about?

Thanks, Chatterboxers! The play went pretty well. I did eat a banana, but not because of this, I just like bananas...I ate it with peanut butter!
