So, I've been wondering who all is doing NaNo in November. I'm going to! My username on both sites is Magic Dragon if you want to be writing buddies. Do you have any ideas about what your book is going to be about? I certainly don't.

I kinda want to, but at the same time, I'm not so sure! School might be more busy, and my dad has to set up an account for me first.... but I certainly WILL tell if I'm doing it or not.

I'll probably be doing Nano, although with school and after school activities, I am pretty sure I won't get much done. I have no ideas about my book, but I will probably use an idea I have been working on for a while. My username is dancingshoes for both the adult and YWP websites.

I'm going to at least attempt it! Not sure I'll make my goal but I'm hopeful! This'll be my third year doing it, and I'm majorly excited. Fingers crossed!

NaNo is an abbreviation of NaNoWriMo, which stands for National Novel Writing Month. It takes places in November, though they have Camp NaNo in April and July. It's a website where authors of varying ages and skill levels dedicate themselves of one month of hard, steadfast writing in order to achieve a word goal.
YWP, Young Writers Program, is for kids 12 and under. During November on YWP they word count goal is set ofr 30,000. NaNoWriMo is the adult site, for people 13 and older. November on there the goal is set for 50,000. During Camp though your word count is adjustable, minimum being 10,000.
If you're into writing, I strongly suggest you check it out. It's really fun! Even if you don't make the word count it's a good way to finally sit down and write. They don't require any personal info. Definitely at least worth looking into. If you're interested, my username is Anne Shirley101.
